Emulating Someone Unfamiliar with Colloquialisms

I'm currently working on a story where the first person protagonist is completely unfamiliar slang and sexual terms, not using terms like "dick" "pussy" "cum" "cowgirl" or "doggy" et cetera, and only using descriptive or technical terms. I am however concerned that this will make things feel mechanical and unerotic, which is partially what I'm going for, since my character is somewhat robotic and awkward, but simultaneously thinks this reduces eroticism and makes the story less geared towards this site.

Any feedback anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated.

Need some more info to help. Are they fully verbal in English? Do they know all about anatomy? Age of the character and sex would also help.

I would try to make their naivety endearing in some way, to give them a kind of ‘Edward Scissorhands’ vulnerability, although that may not fit with your characterisation.

The other person could use the vulgar language in conversation? The main could avoid the words entirely, and react accordingly to hearing the other character being crude. You can describe the act of sex without the actual terminology as much as possible too, so explain how he/she is positioned without saying something such as "doggy-style." I personally don't think there's anything wrong with calling a penis a penis, rather than dick/cock etc, and a vagina just that. In fact I avoid slang depending on the mood. Sensual, gentle sex should avoid those kinds of words in my opinion because it feels jarring when building the scene, especially the more vulgar one in a romantic setting. My characters never use certain words unless there's some aggression, rough or dirty sex behind it.
