I was lying half asleep in bed, trying to think of titles for the next part of my Angela story, when two ideas popped into my mind. How about a humiliation (which could be one of those more hardcore type categories, allowing for a bit more leeway in content) and/or a public sex category?
What a parody category where you can write parodies to movie and t.v. shows. That would be cool.
You could have sub categories, so select/hover on your desired cat. and then further selection from there which could then include collaborations.
So -
Group
Straight
Gay
Collab
etc. etc.
Wouldn't be hard to do really.

"Collaboration" doesn't strike me as a category of story for much the reason Liz suggested early in the thread. It is about how the story was written. Even I wrote a collaboration with another author (I haven't yet), I wouldn't use "Collaboration" as a category since it really says nothing about the story. A tag, sure. But not a category.
I've said it many times before. Collaberation. One that will give equal credit to both authors. Or as Liz said a filter. I would also like a contest for collaberation. It would solidify the memberships also. I know there are many husband wife teams on this site or significant others.
Shapeshifter is a category that I was looking for. That's a genre in itself. I know you'd probably consider that to be a part of the sci-fi category, but I think it's a popular enough genre to warrant it's own category.
Young/old, true stories, written by women.
I often get turned on by threesome stories whereas some of the group sex stories feel like too, too much. By the time the players are sliding around on the floor with cum overflowing from all their orifices I just want to spray them all down and send them home.
I'm still very hopeful for a collaboration category tab. But I'd LOVE to see Revenge pass and become a category. *Crosses fingers*
fantasy world could also be interesting (as in RPG fantasy worlds like D&D, Warhammer or LOR ... that genre or others too, like Star Trek, Deep Space Nine.)
Revenge already is a category! It's just "cheating" with a reason that can be explained in setup part of story, but can also go entirely unexplained!
How about a 'Psychological' category, where 'mind-games' are played out in terms of erotica.
Embarrassed
For stories where the gal or guy, through circumstances out of their control, finds themselves in an embarrassing naked situation in front of others.
Wouldn't you rather have a nice cup of tea?
As a relatively new author, I find myself a bit lost when it comes to categorizing my stories. Some of them could fit into several categories at once. So, to throw my two cents into the pot, why not allow multiple categorizations? The same story could be filed under 'straight sex' and 'voyeurism' for example, instead of having to choose one or the other.
Don't believe everything that you read.
Besides, exhaustion is definitely a good excuse for your lapse. ;)
