Have you ever frequented an adult movie theatre? If yes, can you please describe your experience? Did you go alone or with your boyfriend or husband?
Never have. Do they even still exist?
Yes, they do. I have seen one in downtown Toronto. They still show adult movies there.

I do not remember when I last saw one, there are so many other options now to get the same result.

I do have an older friend who went with a boy friends there years ago and they played during the show.

I wonder if they played with other audience members?.

Do think think those of us who have not been to an adult theatre with a friend have missed something?
Yeah, there are other options, but I think older men like to go there. You mean they had sex?

YUK!! Looks kind of dirty. I much rather watch porn in my own home. If I want the thrill of playing in a theater I can always go see a mainstream film when its not too crowded, LOL!!

I'm in agreement with you there Nikki, and I don't think anyone would want to go with me in the first place even if I wanted to.
Teased and Tormented -My very first story and competition entry is now up!
It does look filthy lol. I read an article in which the author stated that the place smells like urine and that a woman should never go there alone.

Those kinds of theaters or adult books stores are extremely seedy and I would strongly advise women to never go to one alone. It would be like wrapping yourself in bacon and going to a dog kennel.

Well, unless she likes that sort of attention anyway...

I can't imagine why someone would want to watch porn in public unless maybe they have a semi-public wanking fetish or are looking to hook up with other horny guys on the sly.

Maybe it operates as a 'public adultfriendfinder' type thing for guys that want to skip the hassles of small talk at the bar. I can see it as being more popular for guys looking for other guys. There's no way a woman would go in there on her own, sit down on a stained theatre seat to watch crappy porn, unless maybe she she's a pro looking for easy clients.
There was one near the train station when I went to university. I'd walked past the door hundreds of times without noticing it was there. A friend pointed it out to me, saying to watch-out for 'the dirty mac brigade' and I actually felt nervous just walking past the door after that. In three years, I never saw a single person go in or out. The building has been redeveloped as a bar - but apparently the cinema is still upstairs, I am intrigued as to what it looks like - is it rows of seats like in a normal cinema or was there some kind of privacy?
