That’s very true. It comes from the urethra. It could be slightly diluted with fluid from the Skene’s gland, which is true female ejaculate, and is a much smaller volume. But…it is still a squirt, right?

Never witnessed anything resembling squirting, except when a girlfriend leaked a bit of pee (not as part of an orgasm) in my face while I was eating her. That true-life incident was the inspiration for my Watersports story “Daphne’s Bath Accident,” by the way.

There might be small release of Skene’s fluid for some women, sometimes, but it’s not something a camera would catch, and many women don’t even do that. I’ve witnessed some pretty spectacular female orgasms, some of them while my face was buried pretty deeply in their business, and never detected the emission of anything beyond ordinary vaginal fluid.

Any fluid being shot across the room and claimed to be “squirting” in porn is either water injected into a woman’s vagina with a turkey baster, or actual urine. Period.

I always figured the fascination with squirting was the product of ignorant juvenile male minds, falsely assuming that there’s a female equivalent to male ejaculation (much of which in porn is also fake, but that’s another thread). Enough women here claim to experience it with their own bodies that I have no place denying their experience based on my experience with other people’s bodies, though I continue to suspect it’s the Skene’s variety and not highly voluminous.

It’s always surprised me how many Lush writers - even women - include this trope in their writing, with a huge spray and a sudden soaking of the sheets meant to indicate a great orgasm - and as often in FF stories as in MF. I admit to including it in a couple of my stories, though I try to portray it as limited in volume, and almost always as a rare event for the woman involved.

Maybe someday I’ll mock this whole trope with a story in which a woman uses one of the two porn methods (baster or pee) to fool a guy into thinking he’s made her squirt.
