Why does Incest Fantasies category get such a bad rep?

Because " " all too often means abuse of family power. Parents pressuring children, older siblings pressuring younger siblings, and so on. Most child abuse also qualifies as " ", since it happens between family members, and abusers have sometimes even gotten off by pleading to a lesser charge of (yes, it is illegal in many constituencies, including here in Canada) rather than being convicted of actual abuse. IOW, hits too close and too deep for many and for them, fantasy simply whitewashes and ignores the much harsher reality.

Personally, I walk a tightrope with the category. I may well write in it someday but it has to be a story that doesn't squick me out, which certain scenarios in that category definitely do.

What the? “ under the true category”? You can call it “ fantasy” all you want. Doesn’t change it from being a story about whether it’s true or not. Even fantasising about is disgusting IMHO

I agree that the act of is disgusting. I have 7 children and would never touch any of them in that way.

As a writer however, fantasy especially in the categories get read. Almost every story on here could easily be an story with a simple change of a few words. Make a change such as wife to daughter, girlfriend to aunt, boss to niece and so on. It would take very little to keep the same story worth reading. I do write in other categories as well. I was just curious why so many people would have an issue with a style of writing.

The thing is, the other stories on here aren’t fantasy. You can change a few words around if you like, but using the words you specified makes it . It is what it is, or it isn’t. I can’t understand how anyone can even fantasise about it, to be honest.

The bad rep is because in real life people's lives have been shattered and ruined by . This isn't real life, this is fiction, and fantasy, and you could make an argument that fantasy fiction is a way to admit and indulge those urges so no one gets hurt. I'm not judging. I am not here to argue with anyone on this subject. I will just make this point. All of the below subject matters can and usually do lead to physical pain and or scars. These are not fantasies but things that happen in real life. Many times to people that do not want it to happen. They are left scarred mentally and physically because of it.

I try to write about loving families that take their love to a different level. I also write about married couples or people that just want to have fun and not get hurt.

I do understand that can be forced upon people and it does damage them and the family unit. I feel very bad for all of those that this happens too. I DO NOT condone it in any way.

I am here to write and hope my stories are judged on their merit and not the subject matter. I read all kinds of stories on here and judge them on the writing and the story in general, whether I agree with the topic or not.

To repeat, its the abuse that accompanies real life incense. Its usually a older or adult exploiting a child, often with violence or mental abuse. The victims are scared. I very well know there are exceptions, connecting adults and all that, but its to easy to cross the line, so just leave it alone.
