I've never wished more that I had a home gym. I'm starting to go crazy.

Gyms are closed and honestly I think that most of them will go under due to the lockdown.

What are you doing to stay fit?

B(Pilates instructor) is lending me Pilates machine but I still need kickboxing gym days.
Plus, working out w/ beefy men at 6AM twice/thrice a wk is so much fun.
Missing those days w/ them.

I mostly bike (stationary in bad weather/winter, regular in spring-summer) or walk (again, weather-dependent) so I'm pretty much keeping that up.

Twice a day for an hour, Les Mills Gym has workouts on TV, they mix it up and have different workouts each day. I enjoy the yoga and pilates segments. I also sometimes watch things on Youtube and work out along to that.

I go for a walk every day, just to get out of the house for half an hour.

Bicycling and running around the neighborhood on nice days. Stationary bike on rainy days. Wife and l have a home gym, so working out with weights and lots of crunches and sit ups. And glad l got that chin up bar. And we have a swimming pool that we can swim laps in.

I miss the gym where we're members, and hope it will be able to reopen.

I built myself a long "honey-do" list of outdoor chores. I've got a small place in the Texas Hill Country, so always plenty of manual labor needed, and no worries about social distancing with the nearest neighbor a quarter mile away.

Now that I live in Arizona and presently the weather is mild, I run almost every day. On the days I do not run, I go hiking, so many wonderful trails around here. We do have a pool, but I am not much into swimming for exercise. I miss kickboxing and working out. Hopefully the gyms survive.

Mixing Pilates, with standard exercises, a light weight work our and using an axe to chop up old stumps left from a selective cut a couple of years ago for aerobics.

Run 2 miles every morning, 5 days a week, and bike 10 miles the other two days.

Doing the home thing, weights, bike, treadmill but instead of running it's mild enough for swimming so I do that a few times a day.

The quarantine 15 thing is actually a thing.

Anyone want to start a lush quarantine push up challenge?

I have to admit that I'm having a really tough time staying motivated to work out. Aside from a few body weight workouts, some hiking, and a single run, I've been pretty much twiddling my thumbs. I gotta get up and moving soon.

There's an app for the Seven Minute Workout that has been very helpful. Plus general body-weight exercises and walking. We don't need a gym to stay fit, we just need the motivation!

Kettle bells and Yoga. The same as always, except now I do it at home instead of in groups. Which is still fun and rewarding.

Wish I could hike. The redwoods are beautiful right now, but the trails are closed.

i still get my morning 5 mile run in and we do a daily walk. on top of that, i have a heavy bag on the back porch and i switch off with yoga and tai chi daily. and does sex count, cause we're having lots of that - not much else to do in the evenings, really biggrin

yeah, i did a gym daily - the big chains like 24 hour fitness will survive, but the smaller ones? gonna be hard, cause i am guessing they'll be down the list for re-opening.

Running 3-4x/wk, HIIT 2-3x/wk and still lifting here and there but without a rack it's tough. I also run the "gym class" for my kids daily where we do just about everything.

I miss the heavier lifting. I never wished more that I had a nice rack than now...

unless Damon's habits have changed, i'm thinking he's a ringer for the win - that said, if you can hit 20 without stopping my the end of June, i'll write you a story. smile

btw, yeah, been jumping rope too. have to do it in the back yard, tho, cause the kitten thinks it's a toy to chase. :)

Can you do Double Unders yet? I just end up whipping myself with the rope, but you probably discovered that already
