Ok so again another group created by madmonsterxt, a user supposedly from Heemskerk, and a member for 1 day - 1 BLOODY DAY! and his new fake account has the permissions enough to create a group and add us all again. Every time the site advertised is slytease.

COME ON DEVS! Get your fingers out and sort this shit out, at least come in here and post what you're planning to do about it? You've had plenty of ideas and suggestions. It's doing my fucking head in.

Kindly keep it civil.

That was civil. I thought one f bomb and a bloody was pretty good considering. Nothing was aimed at anyone and nothing seems to be being done about a solution.

Edit: Ah there was also a sh*t..... but come on Jen be reasonable, you've got the F word in your tag line for every post you make.

If you're not aware of when your tone comes across as confrontational, others may politely need to point it out. Please consider the possibility that this is the case here and that phrases such as 'pull your finger out,' and others do not suggest a civil manner by any stretch of the imagination.

I will take that on board. Perhaps "please update us soon" would be more suitable?

How does that sound?

Got another of these group messages yesterday, and this time several people replied to the group - which was not necessarily productive, although I admit I gave into my frustration and replied too. Unlike my usual practice, which is to leave the group and ignore, I actually looked at who created the message and Reported them. I see it's now gone.

As frustrating as this is, I agree with Jen that we should at least be patient with each other on this. Don't give these losers the power to divide us.

I think this, not the swearing, is what was seen as uncivil.

Thanks Joe,"Just for you" also made that point, please see my reply just before you posted. Thanks

If cursing bothered me I wouldn't be here. The IT team is small, and lush isn't their only site. They don't monitor the forums. We pass things on when appropriate and they will triage things and make improvements if they deem it needed. Demanding they get the finger out and also report back to you what their plan is will get you nowhere.

They may decide to try another method to combat scammers rather than change anything to do with group messages. Either way, no point in getting pissed off with them because people are intent on finding ways around the site's defenses to make spam accounts. It's irritating for everyone.

Added to another group today.
