Some people that have ways to reach out to me outside of Lush told me they got banned.
The reason given was that Lush uses AI. This AI is used to review uploaded images and GIFs. And this AI was unable to determine beyond a shadow of a doubt whether an upload depicted an adult, which is why a permanent ban was imposed.
So is there any human looking in the Uploads that get flagged, or don't we believe in false positives?
How does this work?
Never heard of this. All the AI assisted moderation tools that I know of (I manage a forum site myself so have some knowledge of the software) put questionable content in a queue for human review, which is then where bans or other actions are decided. I would be very disappointed if this site allowed an AI moderator to decide bans without human approvals (or just accepted it's judgment and approved it's actions without actually doing the review). But I also doubt that is happening. It sounds quite out of character for this place.

Hard for me to believe Lush is banning anyone without a human reviewing the evidence.

I have heard that some members have been banned for having sexual child abuse material in their media section.
I am wondering when the admin team will get around to answering any support ticket relating to such bans from the banned members who have placed support tickets.

We don't even know that AI is involved. This could be banned people trying to stir up shit for all we know.

I would like to have answers about the system in place. I do not think that is unreasonable.
Sure I do not know the gif that she was banned for but knowing that person I do not imagine that she posted CP.
