What would keep an image from not uploading to my Public or other media folder? The images (gif files) adhere to the content rules so pretty sure that's not it.. It's a mystery. Thanks

There's issues at times w/ uploading images to your media.
Please try again later or wait a day.
This is a known issue and has been explained in other threads.
Thanks Natalya for responding. I have tried multiple times with the same image, but no luck. Other files were fine. I'll give it a go in a day or so as you suggest. Only thing I can think of is that there is something in the code that the server doesn't like. Thanks again and have Happy New Year!

Do you get 'Server responded with 0 code'? If so that I understand is a timeout because the image is likely too big.

Since you are a special member, the max. file size on your account is a massive 10kb! 🙄

No I didn't get any kind of error message. The gif just never showed up. I wound. up deleting the file in the end. Just wouldn't work. Could be a size issue. The file was a gif that I made, I'll try to replicate it and try again. Thanks.

Your image became static by your description. You can see it work as a .gif on your saved folder but once you upload to Lush, it became static by the size of it.
Is there anywhere where the max file sizes allowed can be found and are there different caps for different file types? Maybe I just haven't clicked around enough to find it, but it would help to know those before uploading files - especially since larger ones can often be rendered to a lower bit rate before finding out the hard way that they're too big. ![]()
On Lush 1 image, text, and pdf files had a limit of 4kb or something similar. The limit seems to be larger now for image files. And .mp4 files had a different cap that allowed for video, but only shorter ones. No idea what the .gif limit was or is as I never uploaded them, but it seems pretty tight from what I've heard.

Photo size limit
The site will allow you to upload photos that are no more than 64MB in file size.
If your photo is larger than 64MB in size, you can easily reduce the photo this by resizing the file in a basic graphics program like 'Paint' (pre-installed on a Windows operating system) or numerous web sites available on the internet that allow you to do this - most are free of charge so don't be confused by a site that asks you money.
Re-saving the image as a JPG / JPEG format or reducing the resolution will drop the file size significantly.
Photo format
Your photo needs to be in a valid JPG / JPEG / GIF / PNG format. BMP files are not accepted. If your photo is in any other format, you can change this by saving the file in a basic graphics program like 'Paint' (pre-installed on a Windows operating system) or numerous web sites available on the internet that allow you to do this.
