Question, if you have a previously published story that you edit to add to a series and it has a Recommended Read, do you lose that to add to a series (I've been trying to organize my story worlds and grouping them to series etc. as I know which stories I have the inspiration to continue into a series etc. but I don't want to lose my RR's or anything. And sometimes when I am adding it to a series, I notice a small typo or extra spacing I didn't catch the first time or didn't get caught by the mod that approved it, or if I want to tweak a wording or something here and there etc. )

So is there a more streamlined way to add stories to series after they've been published? Is there a risk of losing the RR or any other extras (comments that people posted cos it got unpublished then re-published?) - and naturally we're not allowed to do this for comp entry stories after the fact , right?

You won't lose the RR or any comments. In theory, you should be able to add stories to series without going back to the queue.

Just in case, write a note to the mods to clarify smile

Re comp entries, after the comp results are announced, it's okay to link them into a series.

Stellar! Okay Thanks!

You won't lose anything if you're just changing the series (or tags, or Genre) as long as you don't edit the content or the photo. You can do this for former contest entries too! Only after the competition has ended, of course. I've done this for a number of former contest entries, at least a couple of which were RRs.

Not sure if fixing typos would cause you to lose an RR, though. It would cause you to be removed as a contest entry, I think.
