Sorted for you. For reference, I:

  • Removed part 2 from the series.

  • Selected the series with 0 stories

  • Tapped Edit.

  • Tapped Delete.

  • Opened the part 2 story.

  • Assigned it to the remaining series name.

  • Saved. Then checked the stories were in the correct order.

Over one million views on my stories can't be wrong, so please dive in and browse my 148 stories:

* 32 Editor's Picks, 84 Recommended Reads.
* 16 competition podium places, 12 other times in the top ten.
* 23 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

I’ve noticed this a couple of times myself. That when i try to upload a story to an existing series, the site creates a duplicate series with the same name. A glitch or MMI (Man-Machine-Interface) issue?

My obsession competition winner, Mayra.

No? How about an Editor's Pick? Riding the Ghost Train is raw. Sensual. Honest. The kind of story you still smell when it's over. Audio here.

Don't have time? Micro? Chase Me (Catch Me)

Need to cry? My October. Recommended. Not by me.

The best story on Lush? Beneath the Noise in the shared pen of Alissa Palmer.

It'll only do that if you type the same series name in the box and don't tap to select the matching series name that already exists.

Hey Wordsmith.. I have a story that was supposed to be a one-off, but enough people have asked for more that I'm working on additional chapters. I've created a series folder, but can't figure out how to move the original story into it. Any advice?

You create the series on the original story. Then once you've written a subsequent chapter, you just click on the arrow on the Series box at the bottom and you'll find the title series you had created. Click on it and the story would be linked to the first one automatically.

Let me know if that works, or PM if you need more help smile

I know that and have done it for other series, but in this case, the original story was not intended to be a series, so no folder was created. How can I move the first chapter into the newly created folder?

You have to edit the original story and create the series there.
