Story tags?

Is anyone else having trouble adding tags to stories today? I can type the tags but when I select pre-existing ones, it does not seem to actually add it as a tag. The text I typed just sits there. Never had an issue before. In fact, I started to enter the story I am trying to set up now the other day and i am pretty sure it worked. Using Chrome on Windows. Turned uBlock off for the site. Dumped the cache. Nothing seems to work. I guess I can go without tags but I assume there's still some benefit to having them.

Okay, if I scroll to the bottom and use "Create 'tag'" it works. It's only if I am trying select an existing tag from the list that there is a problem. So I can get my tags in but it is hardly optimal.

I had that issue yesterday with a story I ended up deleting for other reasons. I had to create the five tags, even though they already existed in the drop-down list.

I just put in a story and it continues -- "create" alone adds a tag

It has occasionally happened to me too and I have been unable to add a tag whether I try 'create' or not. It does not happen to me often and it seems to rectify itself after a while and I am able to add the relevant tags before submitting a story.

Glad this is being taken care of. I'm having the same issue, and glad I'm not (more) insane.

Yes, I just noticed this today; this is the first time I've posted a draft in about three weeks. Sometimes "create tag" will work; sometimes not. Most of the tags I want are already in the list, but they won't "stick." It seems to be a relatively new glitch. Odd, because the existing series names will work.

Ahhhh! I just submitted a ticket, I thought it was my glitchy mouse, I should have checked here first. Whoops.

Well, about three days have passed and it's still not fixed. It would be nice if someone at Lush noticed these messages and did something about it. It can't be that complicated to deal with.

In fact, it's a bit worse, because I can't even create tags at this point.

I submitted a story today minus a couple of tags that I wanted to include, they were not really essential but they would have helped with the description of what went on in the story but I gave up trying to create them.

I keep checking to see if I can post tags or not - can someone please post here once the issue is fixed so I know and don't have to keep checking only to find it still not able to add tags for me. please? I want to work on other stories but I don't want to load a bunch of drafts on here, especially since its an active comp season and mods are probably overwhelmed as it is going thru the comp entry stories. etc.

I just submitted....a story, get your mind out of the gutter, you lovely perv...and the tags worked with a double-click

Wooo okay I just posted my story I had in my drafts - but it logged me out as I submitted so now I am concerned it double submitted with two sets of tags lol whoops but I was able to set the tags so yaaay

maybe it's on topic but how do I search with multiple tags?

Not sure it's possible. Yet? I tried hacking the URL in various ways and didn't have any luck.

If and when it is implemented, it'd be cool to let people decide whether to match all the tags or any of them.

One day we'll get the tags hammered into shape as well. There are too many right now with odd punctuation or weird word combos that need reassigning to real tags and then the old ones axing. That'll make tags more useful and faster to use/search for, wooo.

This is a problem I've had for some time. generally, if I insist, close one eye, cross my big toe it will eventually work. It does come and go.

Is there a 'new' problem with story tags?

With the last story that I submitted, I was able to create some but had trouble with others and asked the Mod that reviewed the story to kindly add them, which they did.

I am working on another story and so far all attempts to create Tags have failed even very basic Tags.

Is this a common problem please?

I've just tested it and seems to be working fine.

I’d no problem adding tags for my latest story last night including creating new ones like pyrophilia

When I went back to my story, I was able to create tags thank you, Jen.

It seems to only be an occasional problem but it is a frustrating one when it happens.
