Congratulations my dear friend for your achievement — I’m glad that I have played a very small part in yours and Simmie’s story. Sadly I will be 80 before I reach the same milestone — although I first joined Lush in 2011, by deleting my account I sacrificed many things including most of my friends and a significant proportion of my stories and poems which are now condemned to languish in the dustbin of history. I have suffered much pain and disappointment in the last couple of years and how I wish I had had someone to turn to whom I could have trusted. I know that would gladly have given me your support and advice but you were away at the time and I felt that I was all alone. I wish you many more years of happiness and I look forward to reading more of your wonderfully crafted stories. Will.

It’s been rewarding to have played a small part in the sites evolution. One can only hope that amount of time isn’t wasted when it’s a work of passion. Writing and the help I was able to give others was that for me. I can say my time here was well spent.

My reasons for the name are 1) it contains the word "decade", b) I thought it a rather fine pun, and iii) you pretty much have to be decadent to spend ten years on Lush.
