I just found out earlier that Elliot passed away a couple of months ago, aged just 42.

He was one of my first friends on lush. The shy poet with the biggest heart you could find. I know he touched a lot of people's hearts over the years, both with his friendship and with his utterly beautiful poetry.

One of his poems appeared on the front page under the classic section the other week. Seeing it made me smile - it was the first ever piece I gave a Recommended Read to, back when I was a noobie mod.

I'm glad his poems and stories are still here because honestly, they're just fucking beautiful. If you've never read anything of his, have a look. And for all those as gutted by this news as I am, hugs and love to you.

J ❤️

Interests Very into reading whatever catches my eye, trying out different genres in writing and seeing what fuses together well, and have a more or les...

Crushing. Damn. This hurts, unexpectedly. I didn't know him well, and his final poem makes me wish I'd known him better. I'm glad his words are still here. Give him a read, please, and maybe a passing prayer. He seemed a kind, gentle, terrifically talented soul. Godspeed. You're missed

I'm Still Here

It's been a while

Love Poems

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

That's terrible news. Elliot was superbly talented and without question one of the best people on Lush. I don't think I ever saw anything from him, including a forum post or comment that wasn't clever, witty and kind. His poems are indeed beautiful which is exactly the right word for his work, they have a unique beauty. A sad loss of a wonderful human being and enormous talent.

This is indeed saddening news. He once sent me a note of encouragement that my junior league attempts at poetry did not warrant, but that was a measure of his kindness and generosity. I am thankful his words are still here to give us some solace in his passing.

i knew Elliot. he was a friend. i won't pretend to have been his closest friend, but whenever i approved on of his poems he'd always text me to say thank you and we'd talk, And whenever i posted one of my poems, he'd text me as well, encouraging me to write more.

he was also a poet. why he landed here to gift us with his words, words that he applied to 'paper' like Monet applied paint to canvas is beyond me. he was good enough to be a star. thing is, he was a star. and still is.

other things that Elliot was...

kind. sweet. tender. funny. smart. clever. caring. beautiful. human.

i am so thankful that, though he is gone, he left us with a gift. his poems. i shall forever treasure having them here to read when i need to remember that the world is a beautiful place no matter how dark it sometimes feels.

farewell my friend. i hope that, wherever you are, you never stop writing.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Awww, much too young to pass! 😢

A Poet never dies, though. He’ll always live on through his beautiful words! ❤️

Kindness is contagious. Spread it! ❤️

So sad! Elliott was such an amazing poet and just a genuinely nice person! He will be missed.

Private Show - A man and his wife ditch a public performance in favor of a private one in this microfiction piece.

Perfectly Imperfect - where love and sex collide and a man knows his wife better than she knows herself.

The Naughty Babysitter - Part Three - Katie gives up control of her body.

Boardrooms & Boudoirs Part Fourteen - Chapters 53-56 - Grace deals with feeling out of sorts.

Sad news indeed. Only forty two. That doesn't seem right, does it? He was an amazing poet, and I must have read most of the work he posted here.

I used to be a pervert. In here, I'm normal!

Watch this space...She is really - cumming soon!

This is very sad news. Such a nice guy.

I just found this thread.

I am really sorry to read about this. As everyone has said, Elliot realy was a genuinely lovely person.

Don't forget to sat 'Hi'

I'm terribly sorry to hear this. Eliot was a beautiful and prolific writer, able to turn out amazing poems almost daily for years, it seemed. While I had interacted with him form tone to time, I felt I knew him much better through his heartfelt words. He was a rare gem, soft spoken and humble despite his skill. This is very sad indeed
