I've met some lush friends. It was after years of chatting but we didn't just correspond via lush. Still enjoying friendships with them to this day. I never set out to meet people and can't say that I wouldn't meet others but I don't set out looking for people to meet off lush.

In this world? No. Way too much uncertainty and evil on the Internet to know who you're trusting, especially for sex.
Of course I would. The worse that could happen would be long, uncomfortable silences. Granted, she might be like Glen Close in Fatal Attraction, but you can't shut yourself off from the possibility of meeting someone you might like. The world can be lonely enough without one shutting it out.
My answer now is totally different to say 10 or more years ago. I would have been saying, hell yes!

If I'm honest, there are a small number that I would meet for sex, a couple in particular. Most of my friends are straight, so that rules them out.

It would take time as I have meet a lot of close friends and past partners through other sites so I would not discount the idea but I saying that it would have to be a mutal agread and wanted to meet the idea of to meet just for sex maybe not but friends sure but possibilities are endless

I would definitely love to meet some of the lovely women I have and hope to meet here on Lush, but don't know about the sex part. Much would depend on how we clicked or not, but would love to meet a number of the ladies.
Through my best friend, I met a woman (TraceyAmes) here on Lush a bit over 2 1/2 years ago. The three of us had sex during her visit and six months later, Callista and me moved down to live with Tracey and her family to live. We both found work there and became an extended family. Before long, I met up with Tracey's son who was married at the time. As fate would have it, his marriage which was on the rocks at the time, soon fell apart. Four weeks ago, Tracey became my mother-in-law. Talk about an unforeseen turn in events. I still like having some private time with Tracey as she is both a lover and a mother to me. So relationships can develop and flourish in a LUSH environment. If it were not for Lush, I would never have met Tracey and my husband.
Why not? It can't be anymore questionable than picking someone up in a bar. After talking with someone online for any amount of time, you'll have a better insight into their personality than someone you talked with for an hour or so in a club.

I agree with Magik, a bit of talk first is needed and meeting at a neutral site to give both parties an escape route is a good idea. That said, I have and will again, the relationship I have found is mutually satisfactory.
