I was surprised to get invited seeing that I just like to film myself on my cellphone and write about it on occasion, but sadly I don't live in the UK so will not be able to attend in person.

Currently open for nominations and submissions. Deadline is tight, but if anyone here is a creator or just enjoys watching, now's the chance to make your voice heard. You don't need to have published your work elsewhere if you want to submit something to be screened. 😊

Youtube-style PG clothes messings, mudding, softcore gameshows or hardcore porn, everything is welcome as long as it contains some element of wet and messy fetishism. Closes May 13th.

I'm always surprised by how niche WAM is - "naked in custard" or similar was probably the first thing I actively sought out once I realised a search for porn could involve more than just the word "porn". There was even a magazine in the UK called "Splosh!" so I thought it was up there with feet, stockings, and uniforms, etc. as a common fetish, but apparently not.

Anyway, I nominated Violet for Rising Star, Best Seasonal Scene (both her Christmas scenes are awesome, but the one with yoghurt and BBQ sauce is something else), Best Scene Title (how can "Fake Cum Drenched and Fucking Myself to My Filthy Fantasy" not win? So my question, and I'm not wording this very well, is: is sploshing more a performative thing, or a sexual fetish thing? Seems to me there's a big aspect of performing for others in this. It's like performance art. Am I misunderstanding?

WAM is different things to different people. It is a fetish or a kink depending who you ask, but not everyone is into it sexually, or they are - just not the sex acts and nudity. Slime/gunge, pies, and the like are also very common in mainstream media. For some people, it's shows that featured those that spoke to them and there's an entire genre of messy gameshows meant to emulate that for an adult audience as a result. Many of them are very PG-13 or even PG.

I actually do have a food fetish. And I have a soft spot for cakes, but savory spreads do it for me too. And yogurt. Yogurt is an aphrodisiac. I've found that I really enjoy the slippery and creamy sensations, and have been wanting to experiment more with non-food stuffs. I also like the intersection of BDSM and WAM with lots of potential overlap for degradation, humiliation, power play, and bondage (check off all my kink boxes, baby!)

If you looked at all the nominated people and work, you'll see that it's super diverse as to what falls under the WAM umbrella, but that's what makes that fetish community so great.
