I thought I would explain why I have what I have on my profile.

The embedded music, which plays when you go to my profile is from Scheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Scheherazade according to legend was a beautiful Persian woman who falling in love with an embittered king, saved her life with the art of story-telling.
King Shahryar had been madly in love with a gorgeous young woman, but was cruelly cheated on, by her. In his wrath he had her executed and embarked on a misogynistic crusade, marrying a different girl every other day and then having her executed.
Scheherazade wooed the king and aware of her impending fate, began a fantastic story on their first night. However, she grew tired and fell asleep before she could finish. Such was the intrigue of her fantastic story, the king spared her life for a day, so she might finish the story. This she did and also began a second story. Again she entered her slumber and failed to finish the story.
A similar pattern continued for 1001 nights, each time the king sparing her life in order to hear the conclusion of the fabulous fable, which she wove. Thus she saved her own life and in doing so won the love of the king and he never hated women again, making Scheherazade's sister a special courtier.
