Yeah, there's more than one. It's all to make the site compliant with various US state laws, allowing those people living in those states to participate without issue.

Also because search engines hoover up anything that is published, regardless of context, and spit results back to people who search for those words (usually in combination with other sex terms that we do want to be indexed). Since we don't want to be associated with such content, banning the words is the best way to achieve that goal.

Over one million views on my stories can't be wrong, so please dive in and browse my 148 stories:

* 31 Editor's Picks, 84 Recommended Reads.
* 16 competition podium places, 12 other times in the top ten.
* 23 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

Without wanting to hijack this thread, it does raise the question: is there a readily available list of band words that writers (and moderators) can refer to?

Nope. Can't easily publish them (and keep them updated) without them being indexed.

Edit: but the terms of service or AUP probably list some or all of the scenarios and/or words, because then they're in one place and less likely to be associated with story content. Can't remember if they're mentioned there or in a sticky forum post somewhere.

Either way, it's fairly common sense to avoid stuff involving animals, non-consent and hate speech/racial slurs regardless of (often historical) context.

My series about Chloe the dominating stepdaughter who controls her submissive stepmother has finished. It all started with Her Panties but does it end Happily Ever After?

34 stories in so far and almost a week to go.. still a few regulars missing - can we get odds on a raunchy last minute entry with an Aussie slant and colloquial wordplay?

The quality in this one is really good.. It's taking me a while to get through them.. must be over 200K words all in so far.

Tell me about it! I practically need to schedule time to read through them. A great bulk of them are >8k words

If I remember correctly, in the last competition, hers was an eleventh-hour entry.

Smug face on—I have read and commented on them all—smug face off—and I think the standard of the submitted stories is extremely high in this particular competition. 😊

I also hadn't expected there to be more than 30 entries.

The more stories I read in the Comp the more I realize y'all have criminal minds. You've all thought about this before, haven't you? 🤣

Some great stories so far and I'm just getting started. Really compelling plots and plenty of sexual sizzle!

Last minute, I so dont know what you are talking about. Just submitted, 50 minutes before midnight on the 17th. But that's Australian midnight, so in reality I have plenty of time before the US time guillotine falls.

Do check out my latest story:

Festive Flash competition: The Ghost of Christmas Past

And my other stories, including 5 EPs, 24 RR's, and 15 competition top 10's including my pride competition winner: On Oxford Street, This Gay Girl Found Pride While Playing With Balls

Updated: 18th Nov. Well, unless there is an eleventh-hour entry, I make it that there are 42 (now 44) excellent entries to the "Whodunnit" story competition, and yes, I can say they are excellent entries as I have read, commented on, and liked them all. A few even had me clicking on that favourite star. 😊

When the "Whodunnit" competition was announced, I honestly thought that 30 entries would be the top number, as I thought it was a tough theme. So, in my opinion, to get to 42 shows, there must be quite a few authors here, not only with deviant and naughty minds but ones who are also quite adept at plotting a crime! 🙄😈

So good luck to those who entered, and very good luck to the judges!

If you are not quite ready to give up reading about crimes yet, then why not have a read of my story? It is slightly different in as much as I am asking you, the reader, to solve the crime. The Baskerville Hall Murder (Whodunnit)

I am not saying it is any good. I am just saying. Why not have a go at solving the crime? Just like it says on the cover, before the story disappears into the bowels of the LushStory Archive?

Hello everyone, greetings. I've read quite a few of the stories submitted for the contest, and honestly, I wouldn't want to be in the judges' shoes; there's a genuine display of talent. Some of these narratives inspired me to jot down notes to refine my own technique. I wish all the participants the very best; I know each one of you put your heart and soul into your work😊

Hi, I was trying to find the competition rules... I could have sworn there was a link to them on the competition page but it's gone now.

I can't find them in the legal section. Does anyone know where they have gone? Or have I been imagining that there are comp rules?

Have I been imagining that there are comp rules?

Nope, there definitely is a page with them. Just forget where. Usually they are linked in comp post and comp page.

A strange little something for Halloween.

The link is only visible when a comp is running. But it's always available, so bookmark it if you like.

Wait, does anyone use bookmarks any more?

I do. But I am old (for certain values of "old").

I still remember your Anti-Valentine competition-winning entry, Rachel. It was one of the cleverest stories I have ever read here.
