Maybe Include info about how to resize pics for chat rooms

There are times when in chat rooms people post pics that are way to large. I had to have someone in a chat room tell me how to re-size pics.

I can not find any info on what size pics Lush prefers, or if there is a size limit. If the info is here, it is very hard to find.

My feedback/suggestion is to have either a Sticky or jut a topic regarding pic size in the Site Related/Chat Forum. This would have info on size limits, if there are any, and how to re-size a pic, and possibly even include how to post a pic. If there is a Sticky or topic, it would be easy to send the person posting large pics a link regarding the rules, and how to re-size pics.

I've asked Gav to poke his head in. I thought the resizing was all automatic, but it might not be for images hotlinked from elsewhere, instead of uploaded.

Most overly large images are resized automatically (though some still cause problems). Of course, its always decent to chose images that are already within the chat dimensions (500pix across). There are heaps of programs that will easily resize your images, but the best option is to use Tumblr. Most images are already 500 pix wide and those that aren't, are 1280. Those that are 1280, you can simply change the _1280 in the image URL to _500 after pasting it in the dialog box before hitting enter and sending it to the room. Hope this helps.
