I spent 4 years in a very Chinese dominated multicultural university and ate my share of cuttlefish chips and powdered shrimp. But the worst thing I ever saw was my Japanese friend heating up a bowl of ramen and opening a little packet of freeze dried baby eels.
On the other hand, I love escargot, oysters, sushi and pretty much anything else. I even like pickled herring.
