I'm not too good at picking them either. I started with fifty bucks and was on a good spell. Got it up to 230 or so but now I'm down to 20 bucks. I'm going to throw it Holland.

I think Spain is the better team and we could get easily on Sunday.

That's a bold prediction but it's a good theory. I still think Germany will take third though.

Congrats to Spain- I watched the game and they seemed to have the upper hand, at least to my untrained eye. I know both teams get rough sometimes, but it also seemed like the Netherlands thugged it up some. I saw one guy cleat another in the chest, but didn't get kicked out- by now I understand that the refereeing is for shit generally in soccer, but I guess that happens when there's only three on a giant field with no instant replay and they spend an hour and a half running non-stop. They are bound to miss some things in that case.
Anyway, they said on TV that neither team had ever won before, so congratulations to Spain for popping their world cup cherry! Better luck to the orange-dudes in four years. I hope Paintman's not passed out in a ditch somewhere.

Copa America is coming up in a year or less too Rocco to get your do or die international soccer fix. It's all the southies plus mexico and USA as invited guest teams. It's the second most important tournament along with the euro right behind the world cup. Mexico got third last copa but with Paraguay, chile, and uraguay turning into badasses I doubt they'll repeat third place.

Before game started I was totaly for Spain team , however more I was watching the game more disapointed I become and now I really think that they didn't deserve to become champions of 2010 in my humble opinion of course.
It was rather disapointed game to watch, both teams played quite like Italians play -bunker style.
