Shame the US men's team can't field a decent group that plays well consistently. Guess it is a matter of the US simply having more organized professional sports that pay a ton more money, thus keeping elite athletic talent from soccer.

I played for junior level and local amateur teams, had a couple of trials for professional teams when pre-teen. Played as striker or winger. Was ok, but never great. Love the sport very much. Still train regularly and turn out for a local team.
On the 8th of this month (friday) The U-17 world cup final between Mexico and Nigeria will be held. Mexico is the defending Champion but Nigeria looks very strong and have been dominating every one of their games. They beat mexico in the group stage but Mexico has been very strong the last few games eliminating Argentina, Brazil and Italy. While Nigeria eliminated weaker opponents Iran, Uruguay and Sweden. Should be an Interesting fast paced Final.
