I actually like Chicago deep dish style pizza the best. My wife likes New York style the best.

So, for those of us that don't know- is it as simple as Chicago pizza is deep dish and New York pizza is thin-crust?

LOL... I was honestly thinking the same thing.

I prefer thin-crust pizza - probably thinner than a lot of people like actually (the super thin crust gourmet pizzas are my faves... especially a margherita thin-crust with cold coronas... yum!)

So my vote would have to be for NY style between the two. I'm not a fan of deep dish pizza.

You know it's all weird to me for the best thin crust pizza I ever had was at a pub in Chicago back in 1989. I've never been to NY. I personally make the vest pizza deep dish and thin crust all home made at least twice a month. I'm in Oklahoma.

I prefer really thin crust, aka NY style...lived in Manhattan for eleven years, and there are a number of places I like...

My fave in New Jersey is this place though...the crust is so thin you could probably eat a whole pie yourself...

There might be better places in the state, but it's sort of local...and the fact that they have other Italian food and a bar doesn't hurt...
