I changed my mind. Yes. Some people are just too irresponsible. I noted a few comments about pets/animals being scared which is a big factor for me although my cat isn't bothered by fireworks. The big factor for me was seeing a local display done with drones instead of fireworks. It didn't quite match the splendour of fireworks but it was still pretty impressive. I live in a small town so it wasn't a big budget production.

I love fireworks and probably would have enjoyed a career as an arsonist. I used to have a connection that would hook me up with pro level fireworks. (They're huge and come in brown wrapping.) The last time I shot one off was New Years Eve about 7 or 8 years ago. Unfortunately, despite my precautions, one fell over and ended up shooting straight between two houses about 10 feet off the ground. Luckily no one was hurt but it sure looked impressive.

I absolutely despise the use of fireworks for gender reveals.

My city recently allowed "safe and sane" fireworks so non-profit groups could raise money. Now web have stuff going off from June 27th thru July 11th at all hours of the night. Living in CA, I'm against any sales to consumers due to the fire risk. Big fancy fireworks shows by licensed professionals are fine, but not my neighbor with his $250 mega-box of stuff.

Fuck no!! Fireworks are awesome! One of the reasons I became interested in chemistry was the quest to make perfect fireworks! That started even before my quest to learn how to give the perfect blowjob!

And - BTW -- laying on the beach with a friend, giving a nice sensual bj while watching a great fireworks display is second only to actually being the one who lights them off.

I consider blowjobs to be like "biological fireworks" - so it all fits together....

100% yes

Don't forget to sat 'Hi'

From the dates, this poll predates the migration to the new platform. I suspect that the poll data might have got messed up in the transition. At least that's the first thing I as an IT guy would look at.

Horrible waste of money. But if it's your thing, who am I to interfere?

Where I live, they outlawed them about 10 years ago. It’s funny, because just lately I was realizing how peaceful Halloween is now. I have memories of being a kid, and from mid October to Halloween, especially at night time the town was alive with the distant sound of popping firecrackers. They were incessant.

Now they are all but gone. A shame really, because I always love that time of year, and the popping of distant firecrackers was just part of the experience.

Fireworks on Halloween has never been a thing around here. Too cold I guess (we sometimes have snow around Halloween).

Closest we get is South Asian communities letting them off for Diwali, which falls around this time. And that's been legal here for a few years now.

YES! Even "safe and sane" style. My town finally allowed "safe and sane" about 10=12 years ago, mainly so youth groups, service organizations, etc could do a fundraiser. Now we have fireworks going off from July 1st to the 10th, morning-noon-and night. Oh, and three houses have had fires.

Sounds like where I used to live. Nobody understood the concept of July 4th or January 1st.

No. Because most women like fireworks. Most women drink while watching fireworks. Most women get drunk. This lowers their inhibitions and gives guys like me (and there are more of us) a chance to get in their panties. NOTE: I don't like women who wear panties. That is all.........
