The Toronto production of Phantom of the Opera. Colm Wilkinson in the title role (yes, the original English Jean Valjean from Les Miz moved to Toronto for a spell) and in a theater specifically restored and renovated for it. It was already one of my favourite musicals and still is to this day.

What band or solo artist would you love to see live but you know you never will (either because they are no longer around or because they are just unlikely to ever be in a place you could see them)?

There is a band, but I dont know if the international group of ppl here would know.

Does losing power for 24-36 hours scare you?

Yes. 12 hours in the big blackout of '03 was bad enough. We are very hydro-dependent and don't have a generator or solar for backup.

Do you have solar panels or use other alternative energy sources?

I have a 5-year-old generator still in the box. I say I'm gonna get someone to get it ready, but I never do. If they had anyone who could install the Tesla shingle and Powerwall, I'd do it in a heartbeat. esp since the main roof slope faces east.

pro sports or college/minor leagues?

It used to be college sports. But with the NIL, transfer portal, multi-million dollar contracts for freshman, etc. there really isn’t much difference between pro and college sports any longer. And I just saw that colleges wil be able to add advertising patches to uniforms.

What’s your go-to song to sing in the shower?

Kind of varies, actually. Usually whatever song I know some lyrics to and have heard recently. However, "Ever Dream" by Nightwish is a popular one, since that's a favourite. There's a bunch by them and their current lead singer Floor Jansen that tend to slip out when I am in a mood to sing.

Has anyone ever asked you to stop singing in the shower or elsewhere?
