i assume avgblkgrl and gilrenard had fun here. how did that make an ass out of you or me... as i said, how the word is used
Random. It's just to random
Tasting. As when a server asks you how everything is tasting. I don't know why it bugs me so much.
any words used to bully another
"whatever" - especially when used in a dismissive sense by someone to avoid admitting that they are in error.
I am really starting to hate the word "burpies"

How can you create a word which sounds like something that happens after too much bad beer or a little one who has colic from the worst body exercise ever created?

"wait, who has the burpies? I have to do WHAT, how many times? FAAWWWKK....."
Perhaps mentioned her already, but "literally" and "figuratively" are often misused. Just read the definitions!

I literally hate that.
"Awesome" - EVERYTHING is "awesome" with some people. "I just won the lottery!" "Awesome!" ... "I just broke my leg." "Awesome!"

That's fair :)

"Can't" as a word is okay, but 'tis too often used because someone doesn't try. Or want to try. Now, around here, there's "CAIN'T" which I abhor as a word.

So, we have words themselves of which we are not fond, and applications of words which are for some reason displeasing.
But uhm.. <-- this irks me, lol!

Ah, vocal pauses. An irritant, for sure.
Uhhhmmm..

Aw come on, I am just helping out here...
I can't think of any words I dislike. There are some I really like, though!
I hate the word "trousers" for pants.

An aside: my Mom hated calling potatos "taters" and so when I was growing up would call Tater Tots "Potato Tots." This made my sister and I snicker every time she said it.
Moist flaps. Bad enough individually, but together...?

Moist flaps is a little shudder-worthy, I will grant you.

Perhaps synonyms were invented because someone couldn't spell the other variant word smile

Prepositions ending sentences.

"Has to" used by sportscasters as in "he has to make that catch" when they are referring to an event already past which failed. Obviously he did not HAVE to make it, for he did not.
