Often a question is asked or comment is made on various forums and a week or so later there have been a few or many replies and no aparrent follow up by the original author.
Why ask or comment if you are not going to follow up?
I have even PM'd a couple of posters and even then no reply.
There is a box one can tick at the line above "post" that will enable replies to be received by email. Use it please.

Hi Meggsy. It's possible some posters do come back and read, but they may not leave another post. I've done it myself. It doesn't mean that other people haven't stopped by the thread and learned something from it either. The OP may have already got what they wanted from the thread so let it die by itself. I think it's still worthwhile posting in the first place. smile
