Good Morning all! I’ll have a cup of Bertha’s Best, I can’t just call it coffee when Bertha adds her own touch and flavor to it. By chance is there any of the Coffee Cake leftover from the other day???🙄. My Post Surgery visit yesterday went great. The 1-1/2 drive there for a 15 minute visit wasn’t too bad as we did get some other shopping done. Looking forward to seeing those Comp stories from you wonderful authors. Evening all, What I thought was Food Poisoning after 2 days turned out to be an infected appendix. So a trip to local ER hospital for tests and then an 90 mile ambulance ride to another hospital for emergency surgery. From the time we arrived I was out of surgery and in my room 2 hours later. No alcohol allowed while on Antibiotics so how about a glass of water with glacier ice from Bear’s country. Night all.
Morning all! A cup of Bertha’s best brewed by a Remarkable Bear! I’ll sit other in a corner as I try to catch up on things after being down in Tampa. We had a wonderful time where it was beautiful and warmer than back in Nebraska with snow. The surprise was that that most of the snow had melted while we were gone. It’s teasing us to think that spring is here when I know better. So Thank you for your hospitality as always. Kat’s quickie stories are worth reading and Kimmie has another wonderful story. Hopeful that her and Bear are getting closer to part 2 of their collaboration. Later… as I enjoy this coffee.

Today, I’m grateful I got to tell my other best friend what she means to me. I lost the other in 2019. Both passing way too young!
I’ve decided to still go on a short vacation next week with my twin. It’s a small window to get away from work and I desperately need a break. My friend will pass very soon… probably while I’m gone. She’s at home with her husband and daughter. She is a remarkable woman - always helping others. She’s been in an high position in state govt for a long time and contributed so much, improving our state in so many ways in her long career.

Morning All! Well a last minute change of plans for our Thanksgiving weekend. We were headed to Colorado but our daughter said that the painters were running behind and the paint fuse would be terrible. So instead of going to there beautiful mountain home we are headed to their home in Texas.
Well don’t be like a turkey and get over stuffed and enjoy time your time with family or friends. 🦃

I’ll have a cup of Bertha’s best to start my Sunday. I’m still feeling the effects of a “prime” lost to Colorado by my Cornhuskers. We’ll see what the remaining seasons like with our new coach.
