Evening all, What I thought was Food Poisoning after 2 days turned out to be an infected appendix. So a trip to local ER hospital for tests and then an 90 mile ambulance ride to another hospital for emergency surgery. From the time we arrived I was out of surgery and in my room 2 hours later. No alcohol allowed while on Antibiotics so how about a glass of water with glacier ice from Bear’s country. Night all.

Morning all! A cup of Bertha’s best brewed by a Remarkable Bear! I’ll sit other in a corner as I try to catch up on things after being down in Tampa. We had a wonderful time where it was beautiful and warmer than back in Nebraska with snow. The surprise was that that most of the snow had melted while we were gone. It’s teasing us to think that spring is here when I know better. So Thank you for your hospitality as always. Kat’s quickie stories are worth reading and Kimmie has another wonderful story. Hopeful that her and Bear are getting closer to part 2 of their collaboration. Later… as I enjoy this coffee.

Today, I’m grateful I got to tell my other best friend what she means to me. I lost the other in 2019. Both passing way too young!

I’ve decided to still go on a short vacation next week with my twin. It’s a small window to get away from work and I desperately need a break. My friend will pass very soon… probably while I’m gone. She’s at home with her husband and daughter. She is a remarkable woman - always helping others. She’s been in an high position in state govt for a long time and contributed so much, improving our state in so many ways in her long career.

Bear’s Greenland cousin

Hello all on this Holiday Weekend, We just got back from our 20 days of Back 2 Back Cruising. Enjoyed Greenland (seen a cousin of Bear’s) then several new places in Canada and we were supposed to visit Bermuda but Idalia and Franklin made it impossible so. Bahamas again.

My Cornhuskers played on Thursday evening while we were at sea so it was difficult to listen to the game. It’s those last minute losses that hurt us.

RIP, Jimmy Buffett may you Rest in Peace and Find that One Particular Harbor and enjoy a Cheeseburger in Paradise! Sail on my friend!
