I'm 36, a hair stylist and mother of two. I've been married for 10+ years to the same man, and even though he sometimes drives me crazy, I love him to distraction. He might even occasionally help me write some stories, or at least give me some insight into the male brain. I'm pretty diverse in my subject matter, as anyone who follows me will soon see. When I can't write on my laptop, I have a notebook that I write in, and it is filling up fast. Many things tend ignite my spark of creativity whether it be a song or a small life event.
Interests I love to read. I am also a huge anime nerd, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm a total comic geek and love superheroes, especially Batman. I've also gotten back into writing, and I'm becoming severely sleep deprived as my muse is currently running rampant through my head.
Favorite Books I don't so much have a favorite book, but I do have quite a few favorite authors. My heart has been known to skip a beat when I find out that they have published something new. Although if someone was to force it out of me, I really liked the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty series by Anne Rice, as well as the Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry series' by Laurel K. Hamilton.
Favorite Authors Laurel K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christopher Paulini, James Patterson, Robert Jordan, Christopher Moore, Anne Rice, Cassandra Claire, and J.K. Rowling, just to name a few.
Favorite Movies The first one that comes to mind is The Shawshank Redemption, Gentleman prefer blondes, The Last Unicorn, Newsies. and currently anything made by Marvel Studios.
Favorite TV Shows I love murder dramas, like CSI, Castle and Rosewood. I'm a huge Dr. Who fan (David Tennet will always be my Doctor). I enjoy shows with a supernatural base like, Grimm, The Magicians, Once Upon a Time and Supernatural. I also LOVE Game of Thrones. As stated earlier I'm a total anime Otaku, and Yuri on Ice is my current favorite.
Favorite Music I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to music. I don't so much have a favorite genre, as I do have favorite artists or songs that I can listen to on repeat for hours on end.
