Greetings, to all Lushers and/or Lushettes.

Just a quick note to let ya know that for me and mine, life has gotten most interesting. My wife is in the hospital with way too high blood sugar thanks to way too much infections and aggravated by her dementia. Meanwhile, the 'old folks home' where we now live has just gone on lockdown.

In the immortal words of Gilda Radner's classic character, Roseanna Roseanadana, it's always something. If it isn't one thing--it's another! It's always something.”

I'll drink to that thought. Anybody else wanna join in the fun?

Rumpy, you and your wife will be getting prayers from me.

I will join you for a drink. How about a few glasses of Makers Mark?

yeah, i think Nicky mentioned it's cool for just regular medical stories and/or really fetishy stuff. smile

Hmmm... like l could write a series called Dr. Spritecus' Nudie Surgical Clinic.

This really does sound like a great new genre for Lushstories.

And where's our trust barkeep, Sir Rumpy? I'd like ice cold Dod Equis please.

Oh, and Verbal, you can probably break that ER bill into low payments. Check out Colorado law on ER billing.
Congratulations, Stormy, on a well-earned award. Your series is outstanding, and it should be read by a lot of people.

Hey, Buz, I'll join you in that series of stiff drinks. Just got the bill for my ER visit after that (non-existent) heart scare in January: $1300+. Greedy motherfuckers.

The system is broken.

On the good side, NY strip steaks were half price at the store yesterday, so I am grilling some as I type, with a mushroom topping and grilled peppers on the side.

Drink up! I'll have a Bulliet rocks.

That sounds like some great steaks! Got my mouth watering.

Yes, hospitals, ERs, ridiculously high priced. Our current system is rife with big pharma-mega hospital-big goverrnment-insurance corp collusion that neefs to be busted up.

A round of drinks on me!
Hi Rumpy and all y'all hanging out in the pub tonight. Work has been mentally exhausting lately. So l sure could use a few drinks. How 'bout starting me off with a strong Jack and Coke, followed by an ice cold Tecate and lime, then repeat several times.

The other day was freezing cold and today was almost hot. But at least it didn't rain.

There were a lot of great story entries into the comp. It will be fun watching to see who snags the top prize in this one.

Y'all have a great evening.
Have a wonderful and very happy Birthday, Lilly!

Happy Birthday, Chris! Hope it's a really great one.

Hey everyone

New to the forums, hope yal having a great holiday season.

I'm a 27yo woman, recently single after being with the same man since just out of high school. I've been playing around with the dating scene for over the past year and is it just the men i've been seeing or do straight/bi men not enjoy kissing? I love a good make out sesh with hands touching everything within reach and legs rubbing & intertwining - like heated teasing before the foreplay - so it's thrown me off when I've gone to make out with someone and it's around 5-10 seconds before they stop and try go further.

What's the rush? Or is this the norm? My girlfriends are all in relationships/married so they're no help with this really and I don't have any close guy mates outside of those I'm related to. The answers from 2 of the men i dated (after we became just friends) were:
- "I dont enjoy kissing, I do it for the girl."
- "enjoy kissing? are you 16?"

Would love someone elses input.

You're seeing the wrong guys. There should be lots of guys who love to kiss and make out.
I finally got started reading friend's comp stories. I've got several to go. Fun reading for sure.

How 'bout a night cap? A Jack Daniels on ice, please.
It is interesting to note that the hippy generation of the 1960s seem to have mostly evolved into Republicans.

Are they desiring to protect financial security? Because Trump wants to cut Social Security and Disability, so that doesn't seem to jive. Maybe it's to protect investments. I can understand that. But Trump going after social security and disability really sucks. Especially considering he's asking to increase the military defense budget.

Buz, best I remember, you had several first-rate Lush stories with a distinctive baseball slant. If I'm right, don't laugh, it happens, then you should give your vast fan base the links to some of your more memorable efferts.

The same goes for the rest of you deadhead derelicts. To celebrate the opening of spring training games, post links to your 'sporting' stories, especially if they mention baseball.

Sad to say, but my only such story is over at Stories Space. It's not that good but does have the virtue of being short.

https://www.storiesspace.com/stories/memoirs/baseball-back-when.aspx
Check it out if you get a chance.

Drinks?

Thanks, Rumpy. Here they are:

The Batgirl (placed 2nd in the Sporty Sex Story Competition)
https://www.lushstories.com/stories/straight-sex/the-batgirl.aspx

Triple Play
https://www.lushstories.com/stories/hardcore/triple-play.aspx

Okay, I'll get over to StoriesSpace. I haven't been there in a while.

I hope all in Rumpy's Bar are having a fine morning. It's sunny here in Atlanta, a bit on the cold side, around 40 degrees F. Besides hot black coffee, I wouldn't mind a Bloody Mary or two or three or more...

Cheers y'all!

PS. Hmmm... I see Sprite has posted another Alice story, plus there are several comp stories posted by friends I need to read. I need to get busy...

First Spring training game of the year is in 3 minutes!

I have a day of straightening up (heh) for LJ's return, and leaving little love notes in various nooks and crannies (heh).

And after that, writing and submitting.

UNTIL LJ COMES HOME!

I spied Super 8 is on Hulu last night, so I hit play without looking at anything else. God, I love that movie.

Game's on, I am outta here. COFFEE!!!

When I pull out my old baseball glove, the smell of the leather and the feel of the glove always brings back that wonderful feeling, now so nostalgic, from the old days of starting baseball every spring. That I did formally, every spring from 6 years old to 18 years old. Damn, did I love playing baseball.

And as a kid we'd all want to wear our uniform after the game for the rest of the day, especially sporting grass stains earned diving for the ball, and dirt stains earned sliding into base.

Well, now it's drinking beer and eating messy hot dogs, popcorn, or nachos and cheese at Atlanta Braves games, hopefully behind the net in front of the infield.

I have attended some spring training games in Florida and that's always great to do in person. And how about minor league games? Seriously, they are tremendously fun, laid back, and the entertainment is so pure. As well, I highly recommend college and high school games. There is excellent atmosphere and spirit of competition.

...and the memory of hitting the ball with power on the perfect sweet spot of the bat, and watching it soar almost out of sight... well it felt like it.
I am an addict of Sprite's Alice series. AN ADDICT!

I believe Buz does Jack & Coke too. But in this slop house, be very careful. The bartender takes his drink orders very seriously, and literally. If you happen to slur your words or misspeak, and it sounds like you ordered a Jack in Coke, you will get a very different drink.

Anyone see Moulin Rouge?

Damn it. I started watching it last night. Another movie I avoided in its time. SMH. It is nothing, absolutely nothing like I thought it was. So far, supremely quirky and fabulous. It reminds me of a cross between Amélie, Hugo, both Parisian-based movies I adore, and Rocky Horror Picture Show for fun music, costumes, characters, and dialogue, but... with quick edits, so the viewer’s mind never bores and bounces all over the place.

A morning Haitian Rum and Coke for me, and a Jack in Coke for the one-armed firefighter. BTW... get the little woman to stop by once in a while. I’m sure we could entertain her while you fix your truck.

I’d offer everyone some fresh banana cream pie, with real chunks of ‘nana (I’m smirking my ass off and I can’t tell you why, but I’ve got to keep it a secret until I no longer need too), but my son and I are about to eat the whole damn thing for breakfast. The kid has hit his eating stride. He’s never full. Scary. He’ll tower over me soon enough. He’s already solid as a brick shithouse but he still can’t beat me arm wrestling. I humiliate him ever chance I can, because I know when he does beat me, and he will, I’ll hear about it the rest of my days. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Yes, I do very much enjoy my Jack and Cokes. It's not yet noon, but I will have one, please. I'm sure Rumpy doesn't mind pouring that before lunch.

And for pure torture, Ping, because of your movie choices, we're going to force you to watch the entire menagerie of Steven Seagal movies in a row.

It is sunny but quite cold here. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.

Most of my stories have me or parts of me
Plus there have been a few written about me ☺

I may have to include your pinky toe in a story.
There are some real single ladies on here, but some are androids or shape-shifting aliens.

Beware, as the androids can rip you apart limb from limb, and the shape-shifting aliens will infect your brain with outer space body snatching microbes.

Best of luck with your flirtations.

Hi Verbal, l'm also looking forward to baseball. Hoping the Braves can win their division again, but this time get beyond the first round of the play-offs.

I just don't know what to think about all the Houston Astros cheating scandal. No doubt their World Series Championship will forever be tarnished.

It's time for a night cap. I'd be up for a Scotch on ice.
I have a seriously long reading queue. I sure hope to knock a dent in that, as grungy weather is coming my way and getting outside won't be the optimum thing to do.

Barkeep, I need an ice cold beer.

Mostly contrasting. Maybe the same color thing for a night out, but for the office, white shirt with color, black, or mostly patterned ties. Nice ties, too.

If you wear cheap ties, it shows.

And say no to Pee Wee Herman suits, if you're an adult.

Look classy, look educated, look successful.
Working late and getting home very late, and zapping a microwavable dinner. A very stressfulI, high pressure, super fast paced day at the office. I am exhausted. I'm dreaming about a lazy summer day on my boat, bass fishing with a ice chest full of beer and samdwiches.

So, Mr. Rumpy, ye ole barkeep, howza bouta scotch on ice and a nuce cigar before bedtime.

****

No doubt Joquin Phoenix is a fine actor, one of the best. I have very much enjoyed his performances. I have yet to see The Joker. I'm sure it'll be on HBO, Cinemax or Starz soon and l'll see it. I really do look forward to seeing it.

I haven't been to the Theater since Tank. I just never get around to it. But it is fun to go to the theater, kick back with a huge bucket of bit buttered popcorn, then pull out a cold beer l snuck in my jacket, and pockets full mini-Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. But, damn, it's been awhile.

I don't get to watch that much TV either. I mostly watch sports and documenteries when l do, or science programs.

Y'all have a great evening and Cheers!
Get creative and market yourself and your storiex. And like WMM mentioned above, branch out with some stand alone stories in different Lush genres. Mot of all, have fun writing and doing it.
Short suits will NOT be popular in America. Those things are just evil. Wearer beware!

Cellophane thongs and eel hide jock straps have a better chance than short suits.

Terriyaki chicken, fried rice, and grilled veggies, and white wine.
Seriously, only a ding dong takes life, political, or philosophic advice from an actor. They're fucking grossly over paid mimics.

More Jack and Dos Equis, please.

*****

I have to say, half my relatives are farmers. I've never met a farmer who didn't take great loving care of their animals.
I've boycotted the Oscars for year! And will continue to until Yosemite Sam gets the Best Actor Award.

In the meantime... Yay! Drinks are on me. I am celebrating my first 400,000 view story! 4x Legendary! One of my early stories, just a short telling about a frat party l was at in college, called A Frat House Party Turns to Gangbangs. Over 400,000 views! I am stoked!

So, a tall straight Jack Daniels on the rocks and an ice cold Dos Equis in the bottle for me. Thanks, Rumpy! And a round for all in the bar.

Cheers y'all!

Happy Birthday to Jonathan, Mr. Alaska, the dude who wrestles polar bears for his morning workout! Have an excellent birthday!

The snow melted away today. Tomorrow, drenching rains and flash flooding are predicted, plus it will be pretty cold. I have a lot of work to do at the office. So, l'd like a cabarnet savignaun to help me get sleepy to nod off quickly.

I suggest everyone check out Sprite's series Alice's Very Naughty Adventures, and Tams_back_yay's 'See You Next Tuesday', and also Tangerinesky's and Vanessa26's collaboration 'Stranger Than Horror'.

Have a great evening and Cheers!
Congratulations Sprite! You totally earned and deserve this EP Award.

The story is superior, as is the entire series. Truly, this series is brilliantly written and exceptionally entertaining.

I highly recommend Sprite's series 'Alice's Very Naughty Adventure's'.

We've got snow in north Georgia, quite a lot. Real snow, not ice, sleet, freezing rain, but the real fluffy stuff. Snowman building snow!

Many roads are shut down and lots of events are canceled.

I'd like a Jack and Coke, please.
