Lunch today was Sunday dinner. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cream corn, brown peas, fried okra, cornbread, sweet tea, and cherry cobbler.
These suggestions would make excellent additions.
There could be a wide spectrum of rules to no rules at all.
Happy Birthday, Chris! Hope it's a great one.

In this world, evil shits win more than decent people! That's just the way it is! But fuck you, lying hypocrite turds, I'll keep on fighting anyhow!
Sprite's chat ups will leave you bow legged and cross eyed.
Put Laura and Daisy's drinks on my tab. Heck, Rumpy, give everyone a round on me. And make mine a straight bourbon on ice.

Y'all have a great evening or day, wherever you are. Cheers!

Sprite is tied for the lead in this poll. I endorse Sprite. Vote Sprite!
The osprey has left the nest, as the winds blow from the east at midday. Bring nunchucks.
Yes, my girlfriend at the time came back unexpectedly and walked in in me in action with my ex-girlfriend.
I'd love it if we had longer text boxes for writing pm's on mobile devices. On mobile devices you only can do about 3 short paragraphs then you arrive at the post message box and typing just stops operating.

If I'm on my iMac desktop, the pm text box seems endless, but not so at all on other devices.
It's been a long tiring day. Barkeep, how about a Scotch on ice?

The Winter Olympics are finished. College basketball is stained by scandal... again. The NBA sucks! At least baseball spring training is getting underway.

...wake me when football season is back.

Scotch, please? Rumpy and gang, here's to y'all. Have a great evening!

I think for most of us experienced Lushies we've figured out 'NO MEN' on a profile probably means the member is a male posing as a female.

I use a lot and change them out. In fact, I have a folder of my avatars on my page. If you want for me to use a special one, send money.

My wife and I enjoy going to strip clubs. Actually, in our clique of friends, a few of us couples like to go together, usually after a night of dancing and socializing at other regular clubs and bars.

I've found that most strippers love dancing for the wives or girlfriends. I enjoy seeing my wife getting a lap dance and always get the hottest dancer in the club to do that. But really my best guess from experience is that 90% of strippers are bisexual. My wife will often pick out the girl she wants to see give me a lap dance.

One of our very best friends is a stripper.
• Both men's and women's 10 member team tug of war. Strength, rhythm, and technique.

• Both men and women arm wrestling.

I am glad to see softball for women and baseball for men back. But baseball will always have that problem we had with hockey this past Winter Olympics as the NHL didn't allow it's players to skip their season and participate in the Olympics. That especially hurt Canada and the USA. Probably Canada more so than anyone as they produce the highest percentage of professional hockey players. Canada created hockey to begin with.

Baseball has such a strong summer professional season, you won't be able to get the world's best baseball players. From all over the baseball playing world, they will be busy and under contract during the summer games to their major league team.

But if you've got curling in the Winter Olympics, you can surely have arm wrestling which is much more physically strenuous.

Tug of war would really get people's nationalistic spirit going. Each country pitting 10 of their strongest most fit people against the best of the rest of the world. If you've ever participated in one, you know how physical it is. 60 seconds and a person with outstanding athletic conditioning is completely wiped out. Teams would probably compete every other day to give their muscles time to recover.

Surfing seems like it will be tough to pull off. The actual competition will have to be at an ocean beach capable of producing great waves, so it may be held quite a distance from the other Olympic events. For instance, in the USA if a city in the eastern half gets the Olympics, the Atlantic Coast is just mediocre as far as surfing. That would need to be done in California or Hawaii.

Rock climbing will also be a location and logistics challenge. In the USA there are some Applachain areas very good for rock climbing but out west in the Rocky Mountains, there are limitless possibilities for rock climbing. And what about rock climbers slipping and falling to their deaths, especially if they do freestyle?

I definitely say yes to skateboarding. I'm sure there will be a skateboard event very similar to the skiing halfpipe. But the falls will be on concrete. Ouch!

Will golf be back?

Eliminate: trampoline

..and seriously, curling seems kind of silly. It could go too.
During the flu season I do take a multivitamin just in case my immune system could use the boost. I also get a flu shot but some years, like this season, that shot doesn't cover much. I'll keep a pack of immune boost fizzies on hand to use if I encounter anyone that is sick.

Living in Georgia, I probably have been exposed decently to Vitamin D with the sun. We're on the same latitude as Casablanca, Morocco. I can wear shorts at least 8 months of the year, maybe make that 9 some years. But like DamonX mentioned, the milk here is Vitamin D enriched.

I certainly got a lot of sun growing up. We had a swimming pool in the backyard. Then when we moved to our next house when I was 13, we also had a swimming pool in the backyard, plus a boat dock and boats as we lived on a large lake. That's when I got really good at water skiing. I also spent alot of time out on the boat fishing with my shirt off absorbing the sun. But all the sun I got has turned out to be too much for my northwestern European inherited skin. I've already had two bouts of basil skin cancer that required surgical removal. The last one left a pretty good Frankenstein scar on my shoulder, just missing interfering with my upper arm/shoulder tattoo. That would've upset me.

I get so sick and tired of the blabber mouth TV announcers nonstop talking over the action. Just shut up sometime! They must be on speed or meth so they can ramble on so much. I guess they work in 2 person teams so one can continue blabbering on while other dumbfuck catches their breath. SHUT UP!

I really hate it when they tell you what the athlete is thinking while they're in action. They have no idea what the hell the athlete is thinking. Most likely the athlete is in such deep concentration of what they are doing physically, they're devoid of any kind of other thought.

Dawgs lick their own butts... *giggles and takes off running at full speed*

Or their balls. Uga, the most famous mascot in college football, once on national TV, led the Dawgs onto the field at the start of the game against Auburn, stopped, sat, and licked his balls.

One Auburn fan sitting in the stands commented, "I wish I could do that."

The Auburn fan sitting next to him thought about it then responded, "That dog would bite you."
There are some professional football players, especially defensive lineman, that piss all over their uniform before the game. The offensive lineman knows that and that everytime they commit holding they're grabbing a jersey soaked in piss. Disgusting but true.

Maybe that's why referees let the offense get away with holding so much. They figure if he's willing to do that, give him some leeway.

Holding is the most under called penalty in football. Quarterbacks are thankful for that.

More cold beer please. I'm gonna do some chuggin'.

oh, and since i have people's attention. baseball is dumb. there, i said it.

But l differ. I love baseball and it was in baseball that I had my greatest sports glory.

I love going to baseball games, the atmosphere in the crowd, watching the strategy, the pitcher and catcher coordinate in their duel with the batter. And damn, l love it when a great baserunner steals base.

I loved stealing bases as a player. And in the field making the near impossible catch, testing the limits of my arm throwing from centerfield hoping to nail the runner for an out. But nothing is sweeter than catching a pitch in the sweet spot of the bat, you can hardly feel it, then watching the ball soar over the fence for a homerun. Great memories!

Take me out to the ballpark...

Ice cold beer, messy hot dogs, and nachos, please.

Thanks dureX....

In high school I was starting wide receiver, kick returner, punt returner, and also a linebacker. My head coach who was also offensive coordinator chose to play me as wide receiver because I was the 2nd fastest player on the team and liked to block, as well as had the hands. The defensive coordinator was always asking to use me at linebacker and I did get significant enough outside linebacker time to lead the team in tackling twice my senior year. If I'd had my way I'd played linebacker first. I loved it the most. I'm 5'11, 200 lbs, did a 4.75 in high school. Had several smaller division college scholarship offers. I also was center fielder/lead off batter in baseball. I was good at stealing bases.

Bobsled looks like it would be fun as hell. Yeah, we could do that.

If I'd grown up in the UK I'm sure rugby would've been my sport. If in Canada, hockey, football, and maybe lacrosse and also rugby. I grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball. By high school in the USA they push us to specialize in one sport. I chose to do football and baseball to cut out the problem of overlap. My high school was a regular state contender in football, basketball, and baseball, so you had going deep into the play-offs to deal with that extended those seasons. If I'd played basketball I'd have had a good shot at starting point guard.

In the last few years I've done lots of bicycle races, 5k, 10k, and half-marathon runs, and a few triathlons. I'm getting less and less time for that due to career.
Ernest Hemingway and William Faulkner had huge disagreements over how to write, rules of writing, and they despised each other. Yet both have great acclaim.

Hemingway is considered to have written on an 8th grade level. As a dyslexic l've consumed a couple of Hemingway books in a single day. Faulkner is considered to have written on a college level. Faulkner used more words, a greater vocabulary, and was much more descriptive. His books were a project to read.

I enjoyed both authors immensely. Hemingway is required reading in middle school and high school. Faulkner is required reading at university. Academics usually consider Faulkner the greater of the two.

Hemingway generally left punctuation to his editor.

Rules. Whatever works to help you get your best out.
I've got the Games on but I am not seeing enough of the USA and Canada kicking European butt. Only 2 days left. We may have to send someone to Korea to give a Knute Rockne style speech and get these North American athletes pumped. We need no mercy, killer instinct, attitudes. Gotta get serious!

I have a question. Why do they make women figure skaters wear those skimpy lingerie outfits while the men are well covered in something sesnsible and regular looking? Seriously, who wears a teddy to go ice skating? To be fair, why not put those guys in a banana hammock and a sheer tank top? I bet Sprite would enjoy seeing that, and Dancing Doll would no doubt, love it!

*********

I've noticed so far, women downhill skiers are mostly blonde and hot! I like it!

I was surprised at what curling is. All these years, I thought it was ice fisherman hoisting really heavy beer cans. After seeing curling, how did THAT ever come about?
My deep down heartfelt sympathies go out to Milik and Simmer. This is sad news.
The medal count. North America is on the move! Canada moved up to 2nd and the USA moved up to 4th. Let's go and kick some European butt!

You're going down Europe! Sorry, Noll, but we're in the attack now.

North America!!!!

I love Savannah (except when the sand gnats are biting), but it is one of my favorite places.
