For me the one that I have never been able to read is 'Remembrances of Things Past by Proust. Have tried it in both French and English several times since my teens (probably five). I can't get past the first quarter of the first book.
Ayn Rand also leaves me cold.
Loved Tolkien except for the Simarillion.
As I get older I am very picky as to what I read time is too short to read thinks that don't appeal to me. There are so many great books out there.

Tonya's Poem Daddy's Girl reached famous status. This is relatively rare as poems do not get as big a following as stories. She deserves our congratulations on this achievement as it took just a short time to reach this level. It was published Feb 28th 2018. She should be very proud of this accomplishment.

I would love it if my work still garnered the support in views it once did but even at the current reduced level I’m still going to write. I do it for the love of creation and whenever I stop the characters start clawing their way out of my mind.
I do still try to read others, both friends and new writers who haven’t yet made it big. I do that as payback for the support I recieved from others almost a decade ago.
I agree with Milik. I have only been a member for two years and have seen the radical drop in readership in that time. I write in almost all categories and I have not seen any difference based on the category.
I write because I love to write, however readership counts show that my stories are being read. Too many read and don't comment or vote. The comment or vote to me is a measure of hoe I am being doing vis a vis the audience.
I personally read all the stories my friends write.
