You mention that these tactics aren't working, so maybe I can suggest another approach. You want people to read and support your writing, but do you do that for other authors on Lush? I checked your profile and you have neither the commentator nor the electorate badge and you've been a member for almost 1 1/2 years, so it doesn't look like you do much reading here. Sounds like you want to be taken seriously as a writer, so why wouldn't you support other writers here? Maybe read their stories and comment and, in kind, they'll do the same for you. Not only will you have fellow writers reading your stuff, but some of them are even bombshells (especially Buz; he's a hottie.
) Also, you might learn a thing or two about writing, because there are some amazing writers here. I know, I've have quite a few of them as friends. Sometimes you've got to give a little to get a little. Good luck!
