Yes, and it is both a gift and a curse...

Curse in what way? The fact that it's messy?

Funny you should ask. Recently had a very hot session during a storm and even wrote a story about it: Post Game Euphoria.

Last week I drove in a downpour thinking I might never be able to hear rain on a car roof again without getting turned on.

Why don't you share a link to your story with us...

the way i figure it is, if you're staring then i'm probably wearing something to help encourage it, which was a deliberate choice on my part, and it means that you like what you see, so yes, i'm okay with it. to a point. if all you can manage is to stare at my tits, i'm gonna get a little bored. if you keep looking at them, but are able to look away for a time before looking again, then i'm all for that! i'm very happy to know that you like what you see, and i hope i'm inspiring some naughty thoughts. just be man enough to have some kind of control

I understand, but there might be an instance where a woman is wearing something slightly revealing not for the purpose of attracting men but simply because it is comfortable for her. I agree with everything you say apart from the fact that I would not ascribe a woman's sexy dress code as a deliberate 'look at me' for men. It might be just for her boyfriend/girlfriend or simply comfortable and trendy.

There is always the option of actually going out in the storm and fucking like crazy. I had a lover a few years back when I was living in the tropics who used to love fucking me outside in the rain. The rain was relatively warm and a welcome relief to the heat so we frequently went out at night in the tropical storm and found a nice bit of grass or beach and just went for it. Heavy rain drops beating down on us and chain lightning occasionally lighting us up for all to see, if anyone happened to be looking our way. It was exciting!

I'm sure it was. Thanks for sharing the experiences.

Hey guys, I have an interesting question. I don't wear makeup due to severely sensitive skin. However I always take good care of my skin and its clear and soft. However I've heard from many women including my grandmother saying that men prefer women who wear makeup. My grandma going as far to say "No man likes a women who doesn't wear rouge." I've heard many reasons for this.
-Makeup shows you care about your appearance and how other perceive you.
-It shows you put effort into yourself for him.
-Men don't notice women who don't wear makeup.
-Makeup shows you take care of yourself.
Is there any truth to this? Do guys prefer girls who wear makeup?

I prefer it when a girl/woman does not wear make-up. It has nothing to do with trying to be off-beat. I just genuinely people not having their skin polished by make-up more attractive. I've tried to learn and appreciate make up more, but it's only been just a little successful.

And it might be nice if a woman tries to make herself look nice for a man or another woman, but surely that can only be on a few occasions. On most occasions she must allow herself to look the way in which she feels most comfortable. Men groom their looks for women too. But let's not get carried away. Please.

How much does the weather affect your sex life?

Would you say it might add a bit more of an edge to the experience if there was a storm raging outside with a torrential downpour?

If you would consider imaginary situations, then think about a space such as a studio apartment, perhaps a balcony running the length of one wall, etc. with heavy rains outside. Would you say this is a nice environment for sex, or just interesting the first couple of times because the idea of a storm attracts us by convention, but there's no special correlation between rain and sex.

I just wonder (and by wonder I mean wonder, not 'assume' or 'believe') if the same question would elicit a greater number of negative answers (don't mean it in a bad way) in a different social platform. Such as facebook for example.

I think an alley in Venice by a narrow canal, the street typically lit in dim yellow in the middle of the night, would be interesting. More interesting still, on a gondola as it floats by across narrow channels at night. The scent and sounds of the water and the general texture of the city might make it fun, although how comfortable it would be I am not sure. I've never done this myself.

I don't mind being checked out... but it depends on who it is who is doing the checking. Sometimes it is very creepy and feels wrong. Other times it is wonderful. But, continuous staring is rude, I think. Because, first off, are they staring at me because I am attractive to them? Or am I ugly to them? Do I have a wardrobe or makeup malfunction? Is there bird poop on my shoulder and I can't see it? So, thinking as I am typing, then yes, staring too long isn't appropriate. Occasional looks - glances and even a smile is fine, as long as you aren't drooling or looking evil. Sometimes I just stare back to see what is really going on in their eyes.

" Sometimes I just stare back to see what is really going on in their eyes."

Hahaha... won't you let us know what you see

If it is that type of staring, then yes. However, if it is a judging stare or a stalker stare, then I'd be uncomfortable naturally.

But of course. Although it can be difficult to tell sometimes what kind of stare you might be under.

Woah this is like competing with the "Girls, what color panties are you wearing today?" thread for the greater number of replies. Battle between bra and panties!

It really depends as I don't always talk sex with people on Lush... sometimes we share story ideas or talk about stores we read that we really liked or didn't like. But I have indulged from time to time and it would be a lot easier if this site didn't glitch so much like it has lately.

My sentiments exactly, apart from the glitch part. Perhaps they have fixed it somewhere in the last four years since your comment.

Does it really help you get to sleep if you masturbate? Wow, I must seem like an awfully juvenile adult if this is a well known fact and I didn't know it.

I know sex can make you exhausted and help you drift off to sleep. Same logic I'm sure.

I'd probably say in the woods, something so peaceful and beautiful about trees, lush growth, and the dewy air that would work for me.
Campfire would be awesome too.

I would love to try the beach again, but as others have said definitely pack a blanket. The aforementioned 'abrasive' is an understatement. Ouch. Was a good time of day though, twilight / dusk.

I do like the idea of being intimate with someone in the woods, by a campfire.

On the grass outside this place, which is where I lost my virginity - as readers of my new story will know.

It really is a lovely spot!

I'm sure it is. Looks lovely.

I find it a complement if a man or a women stares or watches me like in a restaurant. Hell, I may have my panty less cunt exposed under my short skirt. Or rocking one of my low tops. I don't wear a bra either away from work.

Brandie

I see. I think it can be a fine line on certain occasions as to what makes a woman uncomfortable, because as mentioned above it can depend upon your mood if you can tolerate/enjoy being looked at. The onlooker might not always know.

Personally I find a bare shoulder dress or midriff revealing clothing more attractive on a woman than cleavage revealing clothes, but that too can very.

If you mean sex with an actual man, then no, but if you mean sex with a vibrant pink vibrator called Big Johnny, then yes, and I have to say he was fucking good

I'm sure he was! Cheers to Pink Johnny.

Absolutely. My stories are based on real events that happened in my life. Just remembering things that pop into my mind as I write that I had not thought about in years or decades becomes a turn on. Also the thought that my writing will both educate and excite others to have orgasms is also a big turn on.

Brandie

Good to know. I always enjoy reading about other's interesting experiences and quite often get aroused by them myself. It's a pity we don't generally do this outside of online communities, don't you think?

Edit: Took down the post. My mistake didn't realize this was in the 'ask the gals' section.

Not that I am aiming to represent the lush community with this, but I think it's quite okay for a guy to reply in this section. If you see above there are some already who have replied. Always helps to create a dialogue.

I changed my chair some time ago from fabric to vinyl. I'm generally naked from the waist down when I'm at home, and when I'm writing, I like to see the evidence of my arousal on my chair.

Haha... cool!

Why do it if I did not?

For sure the story one is writing is has situations which the writer finds deeply arousing, which is why she/he is writing it in the first place. I was just wondering whether in the moment of putting it down in words it arouses you. Not in the moment of conception or retrospection, but in the moment when you're translating a fantasy or an erotic experience into verbal language.

For me it does make me aroused. Good to know it's similar for fellow lush members.

i never wrote any thing erotic but may have to start with my dreams, i'm a very vivid dreamer and most them are all to erotic and some kinky, i wake wet! writing them down would be all to hot n exciting, (can't wait to go to sleep again)

Haha... must say you're quite fortunate. I get erotic dreams too, but not quite as often as you seem to do. So cool!
