I prefer it when a girl/woman does not wear make-up. It has nothing to do with trying to be off-beat. I just genuinely people not having their skin polished by make-up more attractive. I've tried to learn and appreciate make up more, but it's only been just a little successful.

I think an alley in Venice by a narrow canal, the street typically lit in dim yellow in the middle of the night, would be interesting. More interesting still, on a gondola as it floats by across narrow channels at night.
