About

I have always loved to read. As a boy, comic books opened up an exciting new world for me, not the fluffy ‘Archie’ type comics but the edgier ‘Watchman’ and ‘Tales of the Crypt’ kind of illustrated novellas.

As I grew older my taste evolved to the delicious pulp-fiction, noir-type genre of Raymond Chandler, John D MacDonald, Mickey Spillane, and of course Dashiell Hammett. Ernest Hemingway has always been my go-to guy for a tight, well-constructed read.
I moved on to the classics but could never get through ‘The Iliad’ or ‘War and Peace’, but I did burn through ‘Moby Dick’ and ‘Gone with the Wind’.

My writing style is all of the above.

I enjoy a little porn, but my brain really comes alive when I read erotica. A good erotic author will set my body afire and give me an erection of steel. I truly believe that reading or writing erotica is the best exercise for our mind. And it keeps us young and full of piss and vinegar. What fun!

The genre I love best is the one which breaks two of the Ten Commandments: Coveting another man’s wife and Adultery. Making love with your spouse is wonderful... but fucking another’s is spectacular. Something about the danger and lust for forbidden fruit that gives an added thrill to sex.

DL Davito is the pen name I use for my erotic writing and I have a dozen eBooks available under the series title “Tenth Commandment”. All deal with the joy of illicit sex, cheating and adultery (the fun part).
Domenic Sylvester is the pen name I use when I emulate those grand fiction authors of my past. My latest book, “Shadow Men” deals with a noir-type detective with a spooky past who gets involved in a plot to rival 9-11. An espionage mystery that pays homage to authors like John LeCarré, Tom Clancy, Ken Follett and Dashiell Hammett.

Not that I can hold a candle to any of these fabulous authors, I’m just a hack-writer playing in a craft I truly enjoy. Some people read to get to the end, I write for those who enjoy the journey.
