Holy creativity! I admire your free-hand abilities! smile
I tend to prefer clean-shaven or stubble *but* there are some men that wear beards very well that I think look good with them. They have to be well-maintained though. For the most part, it's about the guy being sexy. If I think the guy is sexy, then I'm probably going to think the beard looks hot too. It's still a rarity for me to be pro-facial-hair, but it does happen on occasion.
I would lean away from the action, with my head resting against the window and pretend that I'm drunkenly dozing until it's my stop to exit. Then I'd wish them a hot night ahead as the cab pulls away after dropping me off.

I would probably call her the next day to catch the dirty highlights though.

It's kind of the same idea, yes. But chemical peels are more immediate and happen in a matter of minutes.

This process takes a matter of days. So your flesh gets red and tender and swollen and peels/flakes away slowly over time. Even people who had good things to say about this described the process this way...quite painful and uncomfortable, but once it was over they said their skin never looked better.

It's definitely an option...and a worthwhile one for some people. It just depends, I suppose. Some people added oils and they said it helped. Some people said they diluted the solution perfectly and they're still paying the price for just using it one time. It's a mixed bag, most definitely. And there isn't as much research on it as I'd like there to be.

Hmmm... Yeah, this is definitely not for me. silly
Kim knows how to stay in the spotlight.

I just saw her post-baby-body pic that she tweeted out after all the non-stop hate and criticism raining down on her during her pregnancy for not being the more Hollywood-acceptable 'skinny girl with a beach-ball belly' (ps. why do people think it's ok to criticize pregnancy weight? That always annoys me).

Now - my sad little white-girl booty can never aspire to these kinds of proportions, but I think she looks fantastic.

I'll keep you informed about my Vitamin C serum when I receive my ascorbic acid crystals and try the mix on my face. Vitamin C is in the top 5 ingredients that your skin can benefit from, so it sounds promising (antioxidant + collagen synthesis).

Let us know how this goes. After reading Dani's comments though, I don't think I'd be brave enough to do this at full strength. It almost sounds like a kind of chemical peel? You should try a patch test first, just incase there's a bad reaction. I'm pretty happy with the surface of my skin though, in that I'm not having anti-aging concerns (yet).

As far as natural ingredients goes, I do find pure Jojoba oil is great on the face for those dry areas or just as a kind of all over 'night serum' once in a while - especially during the dry winter months. It didn't cause any break-outs either - which was my original concern with using an oil on my face.

Here's some more info:

Jojoba (pronounced ho-HO-ba) oil is a botanical extract of the seed of the jojoba tree (Simmondsia chinenis). Technically it is not actually an oil, but rather what is called a wax ester. Why do we care? Because out of all of the compounds in nature, this wax ester is the most similar to human skin oil (sebum). It is theorized that applying jojoba to the skin can "trick" the skin into thinking it is producing enough oil, thus balancing oil production. The bottom line for acne-prone people is that jojoba oil is non-comedogenic so you can use it without fear.

- Cooking - especially if he looks like the non-domestic type and is making an effort.
I tried this recently, and it's pretty good! It's easy to add to a variety of dishes and smoothies.

If you check out her site, she has tons of different recipes for lotions and things like that. So maybe you can find one that works for you.

As far as making it less greasy, I'd just cut the amount of the concentrated oils/extracts that she uses. Don't hold back completely, because you need the oils and such to get the consistency of lotion...otherwise you'll just have a bunch of blended butters.

Also, the first time I made this, it was a bit thicker than I normally like. But she only blended hers for about 30 seconds or so. I blended a bit longer than that and it gave me this really nice, whipped texture. And that doesn't just apply to just this recipe. If you're using a recipe that uses lots of oils, just blend it a bit longer if you want a lighter texture. A little water won't hurt...but be careful as oil and water/butter doesn't really mix. I sometimes add rose water.

And when it goes bad, you can smell the difference. It's hard to describe. It just doesn't smell...right. Also, the ingredients sort of begin to separate a bit. She says in the tutorial that to make a new batch every couple of weeks or so...but for me it starts going bad after around 9 or 10 days. Granted I don't keep it stored in a cabinet or anything. Just out in my bathroom where I shower at least twice a day, so it may be affected by that.

The best thing to do is trial and error. I know our skin is nothing to play around with, but it's really the only way to see what does/doesn't work. I was freaked out by trying DIY stuff for my skin because mine is so sensitive and I can't afford to make too many mistakes with it. But you really can't go wrong with raw/organic ingredients. It's just a matter of how it makes your skin feel and how comfortable you feel using it on a regular basis.

Thanks for the tips! I did read that if you add water etc it should be warm as well and then slowly whipped into it to prevent separation but yeah, maybe I should just stick to basics for my first try. And I will definitely remember to make small batches. My first instinct would be to make a huge jar of it that would last for months but clearly that's the wrong way to go.

Heh, that's one of my favorite activities on Lush, when I need a good laugh and I've perused the forum and found a shortage of guffaws to be mined therein. Ill jet off on a candid photo search through the 200k plus Lush community.

I have this little game I play with Dancing_Doll (on those rare occasions when she's actually here)... Called: Gross Me Out

I think I'm ahead of her right now, but I'm sure she'll soon have me vurping and clawing my eyes out before November rolls around. 3 years now, she and I have been able to alternate nearly monthly with making each other wince, cackle with maniacal laughter or shove away from the computer desk and go get a fresh breath of air!

Keep those candids coming; People Of Lush !

LOL... that reminds me, I'm late on my monthly quota. silly

I have indeed seen some freaky stuff on Lush. The easy way to reduce the cringe-factor is to pay attention to your background if you're not cropping it out. As others have said, just keep it clean and be mindful of what's there. I've seen confused looking pets complete with laser-flash eyes, heaps of garbage and laundry, skid-mark sheets *directly* under the person laying on them (!), mystery-sauce smeared mirrors, framed glamour shots of Aunt Edna hanging on the wall behind the naked person, unflushed toilets, dirty fingernails splaying things apart - and that's not even getting into the pics of some truly bizarre objects stuffed into orifices.

I understand the whole 'just be natural' thing in pics but I think the background kind of reflects on the person in the pic. They can be nekkid-hot but my eyes still take in the whole pic. I think cropping is best, or people should just try to make their bed, wash their sheets and at least stuff the dirty piles of clothes and crusty pizza boxes into a spare closet for the photoshoot. Windex is your friend. And for god's sake - put a blindfold on poor Rover or Fluffy when you're taking pics of the truly weird and kinky stuff. :p

Now, having said all that - if someone is posting naked pics on the internet (and not getting paid to do so), personally I think that keeping things kind of classy and more pin-up or playboy naked rather than a full on 'squat-and-splay' is best. I think it's better to save the truly hardcore for people you're actually talking to and/or sexting. So in general, play with shadows and lighting, angles (a slightly downward angle generally makes people look better) and interesting cropping or filters/ can play up the sensuality of nudes. One of the best angles for a woman is laying on a bed (either on your back or your side) or standing and taking a downward shot of the body so you see the curves and maybe a bit of a pouty lip. Or stand in a mirror and do a selfie in a pageant stance (one leg behind the other, body torqued) or a turn and glance over the shoulder to get the sway-back booty shot.

Of course - keep in mind that I'm giving you a girl's perspective on this topic. A lot of guys don't care about backgrounds and positions, as long as they get to see some bewbies. smile
Of course. Whether it's on a forum or in real life. It's just part of being human.

Body smoothie (do not eat/drink). She talks about other stuff...the 'smoothie' starts at around the 2:45 mark.

I've recently come into some raw shea, cocoa and mango butter (long story) and I've been looking at recipes online for a non-heavy/non-greasy version of lotion but they all seem to be for heavier concentrated body-butter creams.

Is there a way to make a lighter lotion? Would you make it the same way as in this tutorial but just add in water or aloe water? If anyone has experience with DIY creams, please share.

Also - how can you tell when a cream goes bad? Will it be obvious? Does the consistency or scent change?

I'm a total newbie at this.

PS. This was a great tutorial. Much more detailed and easy to follow than many of the ones I've checked out before.
I signed this earlier as well.

I guess their banned-material censor guards were too loose and some authors/publishers managed to slip banned content through and now there's been enough backlash that the whole industry has to suffer for it. Sigh. sad

Hmmm. Was it just me, or was that a bit of a slow start to the season? Sure, it was good and everything, but I was hoping for a real barn burner.

I might have let my expectations run away with me a bit.

I had the feeling that bat shit crazy Irish bird was up to something, but to be honest, I wasn't expecting a walker in a sack. I would have liked to have seen that go a different way. What does everyone else think?

And how much of a muck do you think that kid who dropped in the shower is going to cause?

Ooo, I can't wait for next Monday...

I had the same immediate reaction to you and then was like wait - slow down - they did a great job of setting up all the storylines, threads and themes to come. They had to have a cohesive slow-burn start to things to establish the calm before the storm. I believe the writers treat every season the way a story/novel would be set up - this is just the beginning - laying down the groundwork. I appreciated the opener far more, once I stepped back from things and saw the big picture.

I have heard that episode-2 is HUGE though and that things get intense fast from there. I'm guessing a main character death might be in the works. That Harry Potter Walker is definitely going to get someone, especially given that it's night and everyone at the prison is asleep. I think the bigger issue is that before he turned, he coughed up the fucking plague all over their water system so people are going to get sick and looks like they'll be dropping pretty quickly as the fatality rate at first onset of illness looks like half a day max. Scary.

Re the Irish woman - I kind of liked her in the beginning, especially since they were introducing all these new cast members - I figured she would be one of them. Honestly, my immediate impression was - oh, if you cleaned her up, she'd be quite pretty as a new cast member... maybe a future love interest for Rick?... This is all about Rick showing how he's now becoming inclusive of newcomers and has gotten back in touch with his sense of humanity again... I liked her accent. And then she went crazy. Oh well. sad

I heard they are bringing in some major characters from the comic books this season as well (Abraham, some doctor, and few others I didn't recognize, since I haven't actually read the comics). Sounds like they're fleshing out the cast of key players. I hope this doesn't mean they're going to be killing off certain other characters though. I do think that Rick and Daryl are core to the show - everyone else is reasonably expendable - but damn, I hope the writers know better than to mess with the idea of losing either of those two.
One more tip - if you're a daily hair washer, focus on shampooing the roots only and just letting the suds run through the the rest of the length of the hair. Daily hair washing takes it's toll and will dry out your hair faster but if you have an active lifestyle or go to the gym regularly, it's hard to get around it. You can be easier on your hair if you just focus on the roots and spare the length. That goes for shampooing as well as hair colouring, if you do it yourself.
I do like them - depending on the style, placement and quality. Those things make a huge difference in whether they'd be considered a turn-on or turn-off. Good ink with some thought behind it can be very sexy. Size and quantity of the pieces don't matter as much. I've been attracted to people with no tattoos and people with lots of tattoos. It's really about the vibe of the person and the way they've chosen to represent themselves through the medium of ink and art.

If you look at some of the tattoo-focused shows on TV like Ink Master or the ones specializing in cover-ups of really bad ink, you can see how much a tattoo can make a person more beautiful/interesting OR more likely to never want to take their clothes off. If you're going to do it, make sure it's by a good artist and that you know what you're doing. Then it can definitely add to some intrigue about the person or up the sex-appeal factor.

I do have one myself, although it's small, and will likely get at least one more at some point in my life.
When I think of what I've heard and read about 'the lifestyle', it just reminds me of subscribing to very old fashioned pre-feminist values and ideals - those which were the norm in days gone by. An era when men were in charge and controlled the relationship and women submitted (in this case willingly) and in return were taken care of.

If we strip away the dom/sub sex, which a lot of people enjoy to a certain agree, and they wouldn't necessarily identify themselves as 'BDSM' types, then wouldn't it be very similar to how a typical relationship would have been 100 years ago? I mean that in terms of the basic spirit of the connection. I don't see it as progressive or non-vanilla in the typical sense - but more like a counterculture of taking things back to the past. I hear a lot of mention of being a 'gentleman' and 'chivalry' and submission and guidance and punishment. It's a throwback to older eras.

Maybe some people see it as a simpler time where extremely defined roles helped make marriages/unions work, to a certain degree. At the heart of it, it's extremely old-fashioned, conservative and vanilla when you're looking at the non-sexual aspects. It's maybe only seen as non-vanilla right now because it's not the norm anymore - but once upon a time, it would have been standard fare, no? That's always been my impression of it.

It's impossible not to be a huge fan of yours in every way possible.
I hope you have a truly fantastic birthday! XO

How to immediately cure loneliness and end up having the most wild sex you have ever had in just one night in three easy steps.

1. Acquire an 8-ball of cocaine. Put it in an obvious baggie.

2. Head to the strip club and get a private dance. It must be a private dance so you can isolate one stripper.

3. If you like her moves and her in general accidentally drop the 8-ball right in front of her.

After you follow these three easy steps you will have a stripper following you home. It is like feeding a stray cat. They just keep coming back.

I actually know a few guys that swear by this strategy. And it doesn't just have to be with strippers. If you make a few cute partygirl contacts and let them know you typically have stuff laying around your place, you will be getting those post-midnight calls from Wednesday to Sunday to come over and 'hang out' on a semi-regular basis. The only rule is - never reveal your total quantity of stash or they won't leave until the glass coffee table is clean - and that could take days. silly

If this isn't your thing (and it probably isn't for most guys) - what about trying a bit of internet dating or getting on PlentyofFish etc. If your time is limited and really you're just looking for companionship, it might be an easy way of meeting new people that are interested in the same thing. If you're shy or introverted, it alleviates the whole bar-hunting and having to approach girls that will give you cut eye and tell you they're on a girl's night and just came here to dance. It's a bit of a hit and miss if your goal is meeting someone.

Otherwise maybe see about joining a gym that does a lot of social events or maybe take up a hobby - train for a marathon and join a runner's group, try your hand at yoga (plenty of girls there) or if you want to meet new guy-friends maybe take some MMA classes or get involved in some kind of team sport. Also when you're just surfing the net, try to find a sunny patio in the city at a lowkey bar/restaurant or a Starbucks where you can set up camp with a laptop or your smartphone and have a coffee or beer and still feel like you're surrounded by people - some of whom might interest you enough to smile at or start a conversation with in a casual way. Especially around the holidays - lots of girls will be shopping en masse in the upcoming months and will be grabbing hot chocolates or coffees or drinks. Do your thing but stay socially visible - you never know when the right person might cross your path. It always helps to maximize your opportunities of meeting new people. smile

*sad face* the electric Kitty one is sold out.

LOL... I did think of you when I saw that one. Keep checking back - they get new stock in regularly. There's also a bunch of other online retailers that usually have stock of everything if you google around. You are definitely electric kitty. smile

NOW THAT'S SEXY, the jeans and the shirt have to go though.

They're cute. I have one of the Red Foxes from when they first came out. Now I just need a matching buttplug.

For all your Halloween and music festival needs - plenty of animals to pick from: http://www.spirithoods.com/
I'm not a gay guy, but I think this is a totally adorable and sexy idea. Well.. assuming those are faux-fur, of course. smile

I like the fox one, personally.

And you could always get a Red Fox SpiritHood to match the tail-plug!

It's too bad the media always quotes out of context. Again, he's not saying he's a rockstar as in he is the top of the rock music genre. He was saying that as far as culture, fashion and influence goes, rap has become more relevant than rock and roll - and that means as far as importance and cultural influence goes, he's therefore become the 'biggest rockstar on the planet'. Finally saw the actual interview. Not advocating, defending and agreeing and yeah, it's super arrogant, but it's always nice to know what the context was before unloading.

*Quoted from the Interview

"Rap is the new radio," he announces, before continuing:

"Where's the culture at? I'm sitting in the middle of it, whether I'm at a dinner with Anna Wintour or at a listening session with Pusha, or me and Virgil (Abolh, West's adviser) are in Rome giving our designs to Fendi and over and over getting knocked down. We brought the leather jogging pants six years ago to Fendi and they said 'No.' How many motherfukers you done seen with the leather jogging pants? So when I see [Saint Laurent creative director] Hedi Slimane and it's all like, 'This is my take on the world.' Yeah, he's got some nice $5,000 jeans in there… There's some nice ones, some good shit here and there. But we culture. Rap is the new rock stars."

"It's been like that for a minute," Lowe adds.

"It's been like that for a minute, Hedi Slimane," he yells back. "It's been like that for a minute. We the new rock stars and I'm the biggest of all of them!"
If this rust-hued stash beast left the house looking like that on purpose, that is just awesome in the worst way possible.

Also - anything vaguely Bieber'ish. I hate the shoes, the pants and the hair. And especially a heavy gold chain or any yellow-gold jewelry in general on a guy turns me off.

It's strictly as dirty talk or in a playful/teasing way by a boyfriend, someone you're sexually involved with or even just a friend. As others have said - it's all about the intentions behind it and way it's used.
