My Rams defeated the 49ers 42-26 and could easily have made it 49 if they hadn't throttled down and sat on the ball in the last 3 minute or so. The game ended inside the SF 30

I'm about to go to through and reread at least a couple of my Wild Girl series. The reason for this is I've lost the voice of the character. When things are going well, I hear the character, her voice, accent- everything as if she is speaking in my head and I'm just writing what she says

But I started another chapter yesterday and I can’t hear her at all. As a consequence what I've written doesn't sound like her either. Not even her syntax is right.

Sigh. So, now I'll clear my head and read two or three chapters to recapture that voice. Failing that I'll have to set that aside and write something else until we comes back

I received a comment this morning from someone who seemed deeply affected by one of my stories

It was touching and impactful to hear how my story affected her. And this is why I write erotica is such an emotional medium, and if you can leave somebody with something more than just a case of arousal, you know the story you had a purpose to it.

And with comments like that, I have a chance to build friendships, which is really valuable. Frankly reading that comment made my day.

Well in the United States it’s football Sunday almost a religion here and my Rams are looking at playing the arch nemesis this afternoon so I’ll be watching the games for the most part but hopefully somewhere in there I can sneak in some writing as well

American Football tomorrow and my Rams play their Arch nemesis, the San Fransico 49rs. On paper, the Rams should win this. They are the better team and the ‘Niners are suffering a number of key injuries

But those damn Bay Area bums have our number bigger than shit and we misfire almost every time we play them

Last game, we fumbled on the one yard line and lost 7 points, had a field goal blocked and lost 3 more and still took it to overtime

But on the 10 yard line our coach decided to go for broke on 4th down and failed while Inwas screaming at the screen to just tie it up with a chip shot filed goal.

So, I’m not gonna get my hopes up even though the betting odds now favor the Rams to win the Super Bowl. Right now it’s just potential

And ‘ potential’ is just a nice way of saying they haven’t done it yet

To me its not really winter until it hits -20C.

I don’t mind it until it’s below 20F/-6.67c- during the day. I haven’t seen get to 4F/-20c here yet but it can. I was in Virginia a few years back and it got that cold there. I was in Arkansas when I was young and it was down to -1F/-17c with strong winds.

That was fucking miserable. But was a SoCal boy all my life so I didn’t experience real weather of any kind unless I was traveling.

Let me tell you, San Diego is heaven on earth. If it gets more than 15f up or down from 75f/23.9c there, it’s worth talking about. LA , where I grew up, is nice but San Diego is where bad weather was banned by Mother Nature for crimes against humanity.

California can get hot but it’s never humid and the pitiful excuse for cold they get is a joke to a Canuck like you whose used to feeling the bite of winter take a chunk out of your soul

yeah, a few of them have asked me to talk to them off-line as well and it’s kind of strange why they would do that

I’m not sure any of these people were actually scammers, but when somebody comes up to talk to me and within a couple of statements back-and-forth or asking me for money, that’s a sure way to get blocked

just as a matter, of course I keep all my gifs in a separate folder on my profile. That way people don’t have to go searching through a bunch of stills to find them. It probably wouldn’t be that hard to tag them beyond that point.

Since I've returned, I've been contacted by more than a couple memebers, usually new ones, who try hitting me up for money or the most recent, lush coins. Is this common these days?

I had one who wanted a gift card, out of the damn blue and today one was asking for coins within seconds

I'm not interested in cyber chat and I am too old to be sweet-talked out of money

And then he removed the legal status of half a million Cuban and Haitian migrants, almost all in Florida and thinks that won't make the rest enraged?

40 million Americans benefit from SNAP, and even though a court has ordered him to continue the payments he’s refusing to let them have money to buy food

And 45% of those people live in red states 24% of them are registered Republicans. did nobody in the GOP realize that that was not going to do well for them in the election?

53 million people are on Medicaid and the entire shut down is over the cuts to Medicaid and the closure of hospitals and the bills have gone out and people have seen how large their premiums are gonna go.

And yet the GOP thinks they’re gonna continue to receive votes from those people?

And did they not count how close Congress was? They had 219 seats while the Democrats sell 213 and there were three vacancies. The Control this Senate 53 to 47, and this was after probably the greatest showing the the GOP is made an election in decades all that they were barely holding onto power

Donald Trump won the election by a mere 3 million votes, and he’s made probably 70 million people absolutely enraged with him many of whom voted for him in the first place.

No, I’m not saying he’s deliberately trying to destroy the GOP but he couldn’t be doing a better job of it if he was

‘Taken’ was another in chain of edgy, seduction/reluctance and stories I've written since my return. I enjoy writing those a great deal, but my next will, literally, return me to my roots.

Summer of Love is an unpublished story I wrote almost 15 years ago, created specifically for one young man who wanted to impress his girlfriend. After giving it to him, he vanished from Lush and I just held the story in my archive.

I understand your frustration. But, no matter what site you post on, there will be a wait. I've posted on many and it's just the way it is because every site has to screen them before they can risk allowing them to be seen.

If I may give you a reason to stay, it's this.

The other sites I've been on lack the community we have here. Yes, you can post there but you likey won't get many comments and feed back for your effort. Our two largest competitors will offer more recorded views because we don't record the views of non-members, but their readership rarely if even leave any kind of comment letting you know they appreciate your work. And the truth is you are more likely to get trolled than any other response to your work.

Also, while both of those sites have a forum, they are not well connected to your profile page and this creates a disconnect between you as a writer and the posts you make.

Our membership is a community. That is and has always been a strength of Lush and why I've been here for so long. You will make friends here, friends whose work you will look forward to reading and who will also do the same for yours. No other site compares to our memberships community and believe me, I've looked.

So, please be patient. And yes, a Platinum or gold will help, after all, membership has its privileges.

In the meantime, make some friends. Engage in the forums or post pics on your profile. When you do, your friends will see them and it's a great way to make new ones. I hope you stick it out. You won't regret it

Good news for me is I got my Medicare set up last night. It's not usual in the US for someone my age to get it but being disabled makes me eligible.

I'm waiting on Taken to be posted. This one, like my next are stories I wrote many years ago. Taken was never meant for Lush but after some reworking I've made it Lush-friendly.

After that, will come Summer of Love. This one was written more than a decade ago when a member here asked me to write a story he could give his girlfriend. So, I wrote it based on his bullet points, locations and a song request, etc. So, I gave it to him and asked him if he was going to post it and he said no. He told me to, and I never heard from him again.

Never saw him here again either. So, I held it for years but now I think I'll put it up.

I still wonder how his beach trip went. So, Mason, if you see this let me know.
