This one has certain memories for me because I was living in the neighborhood at the time...they walk past The International Bar & Grill at the beginning, on St. Marks place, and end up at The St. Marks Bar & Grill at the corner of St. Marks and 1st Ave. in NYC...these were my local bars at the time, and I remember when they were in the neighborhood making this very well... happy8

Good Evening my Lushketeer Friends...Oh yeah, nice to see you assaulting the good taste of this fine site with one of your stories...I haven't really done that recently myself, though I'm seriously thinking about writing up something for Lush Publishing...I'm reading Ashleigh Lake's "The Bitches In The Basement" now, just to see how it's done...the difference is, she can actually write...but, we shall see...I just have to get in the mood...

Speaking of getting in the mood...I saw a great new martini recipe I'd like to try...do you think you could make up a pitcher or two of these Rump? And make a pitcher up for the rest of the bar while you're at it...

Guest blogging is a powerful way of reaching a lot of readers, and telling them about your book...I know a few people here have their own blogs, Jake for instance comes to mind, and he does a fine job btw...I see at the moment he has 76 members, which is somewhat respectable...

Blogging takes a lot of work and dedication to make it work, and it's not easy to build up a following, it takes both time, and regular blog posts that people will actually want to read...

The easier, and personally I think far better alternative, is to guest blog on someone's blog who is established and has a significant following...

I'll be posting erotic blog sites looking for guests in this thread from time to time, starting with this one...and anyone else who wants to contribute, by all means feel free...

Here's something somewhat related...Caridad Piñeiro, who is a New York Times bestselling romance author, and just so happens to be an attorney as well, has been talking about this in my LSF group as of late...basically the ruling is that you can't resell eBooks...this just came out in the Writing-World newsletter...

There's a petition on Change.org to get Amazon to change their policy regarding ebook returns/refunds. Right now too many people are buying ebooks, reading them within the 7 days allotted for returns, then returning them for a full refund. There are people who cheerfully brag about doing this and see nothing wrong with it. I and many others see it as another form of piracy. Whether you're traditionally published or indie published, this policy negatively affects authors' incomes. If you're interested in signing, here's the link:

Good Afternoon Lushkins...I'll tell ya' Reverend, it's good to see you back, needless to say we missed you, and as you can see, most of the bottles in this place are now empty...except for that Geritol bottle, and the mayonaise jar next to it...like I said, we're are sincerely glad you're back.

Hope your daughter appreciated you being a clergy person at her wedding...I'm sure that deferred a bit of the costs...

I really don't know why you didn't have the reception here at Rumplebations...that would have seemed the sensible thing to me instead of whining about your screaming check book...jeez...you would think the young couple would be happy to have their big day spent in a place as classy as this joint...heck, you got everything you need...Coma and Tose could have been the witnesses...you don't even have to ask them, just slide them over next to the couple...it all would have made sense...

Anyway, do what you like...btw, did I hear you say the first glass of that there Purple Haze fine sparkly stuff is free? Hmmm...fill up this 5 gallon jug here for me...it's made of glass, that should count...

If you get really drunk and daring btw...check out my contest poem...go easy on me, there's a potato at steak...

Hey Gav...I'm having problems with tag searches...for instance, the search results for "whatever" only comes up with 71 results...it should be at least 105, since I have it in every story...and I know a couple other people have used it...tried it both logged in and logged out, same result...

One member here who does a really bang up job of promoting her writings is the Magnificent1, aka the one and only Maggie Rascal...she does a really fine job of not only steering people to her stories, but also promotes her art, and maybe a few other things...check out her FB page for an example of how it could be done...
