The anonymous votes have disappeared in the transfer because they had no scores attached. When you get a new vote, the temporary total and scores are recalculated from the remaining data, which only includes member votes from before the switch and any votes after the switch.
OK, first off...I admit I'm not always the sharpest shed around the tool, and I'll never be a rocket surgeon...but, for the life of me, I cannot comprehend how a vote cannot have a score attached to it...that is something I don't think I'll ever comprehend, and I'm not going to try to strain my few remaining brain cells to try to figure that one out...
From what I gather from this whole conversation here is that a lot of people have lost a bunch of votes that were non-member anonymous type votes...I have to admit, because of the number of stories I have which is somewhat more than a big bunch, combined with my limited mental capacity, I really don't have much in the way of a clue as to the actual number of votes on most of my stories...I do however have a fairly general idea of my overall average on this site and the other fine English language sister site...
For instance, I have a poem over on Sister Stories with over 100 votes...that seems to be unchanged from what I can see...I happen to know for a factoid that most of those votes could not be by members, since it would mean that about a third of the total members would have voted on that one poem...not possible, take my word on that one...
From the looks of things, it would seem that all those votes are still there...last check it had 117 votes...I think it went up at least one since the big V2 upgrade...
Basically, what I be looking to figure out here...did I come out unscathed out of this mess? Or, is there some big surprise yet to come for me?
Or, did a third of the members of Sisters Space actually vote on my poem?
I'm just trying to get a clue as to what is going on...might be first, go easy on me here...
