You got some real gems there I would say Felix...I think together we could put out a book just of comments...

I decided to post my contest story "The Birthday Party" I wrote for Stories Space, Lush's non-erotic site for any who still don't know, recently on a site which features both erotic and non-erotic stories...

I posted it, of course, in a category clearly marked "non-erotic"...I got this gem of a comment today...

What Happen To The Sex

i was thinking that you would have slipped a hard one to your mom.... Unlike other sites, most stories in here includes sex, if you want to write this fiction then go to the Hallmark site"

It's nice to see someone appreciate good writing and not just the sex...eh?
Hey there people...how we doing here? Yeah, Rump...does that old window air conditioner work? I'm sure it has at one time or another, though probably not since the Ford administration...

Here Chef, just stand in front of this fan...you look hot to me...in more ways than one I might add...

Btw Mr. Rump...I was reading your profile on that fine, classy sister site known as Stories Space and decided to send one of my stories in to Muscadine Lines: A Southern Journal, which you had listed on your page...well, they informed me today my story "The Birthday Party" will appear in their next issue, which I believe comes out in a couple of days...must really be a high class publication if they publish stuff from both of us...lol...

They said something about an author must have some connection to the South to get published...so, I proudly informed them I knew where South Jersey is on a map...

Apparently that was enough...who knew I was such the Southern gentleman? Let me go practice my Southern drawl...you'all know what I mean now, I reckon...

Let me get a shot of Southern Comfort in celebration...and the real deal, not the No Frills schnapps in a Southern Comfort bottle...

See ya'all later...maybe I'll come back for some Mint Julips...
Good Morning Lushkins...hmmm, Mr. Rumple...when you say the danish is "relatively fresh" what exactly does that mean? That it's not quite hard enough yet to etch glass?

Bounce one over here anyway...just don't throw it so hard that it breaks anything...I figure if I dunk it into this cup of sludge you call coffee maybe it will dissolve to the point of edibility...wishful thinking on my part, I know, I know...

Yeah, that name Steel Jance either is a porn handle or should be... I bet there's a story as to how he got that name that somehow involves a cheap hotel room and a movie rental...

Anyway, let me let this rock...I mean pastry soak in this tar for a bit before I start breakfast here...
Cheers,
Alan.

That looks like too much reading I'll wait for the Cliffsnotes

I hate to break it to you...that is the Cliffnotes...
I found out recently that the real reason I write is so that other people can come along, steal my stories and claim that they're theirs...

Sorry...couldn't resist that one...
Good Evening Lushketeers...How is everyone this fine evening? I'm telling you, all this talk about story theft is enough to drive me to drink...put that down as drinking excuse number 2026 on the list...

Sorry you feel that way about this fine site known throughout the world as Lush Stories there Miss Sharon...you sort of have to take the good with the bad sometimes, and yeah, you can certainly limit your exposure on the net...but, it's nice to actually have your stuff read sometimes as well...just saying...

And good luck with the poetry sales, though honestly, I wouldn't get my hopes up too much on that one...poetry books by known poets don't exactly fly off the shelves...but, whatever...

Anyone die yet from Chef's egg dish? Just checking before I steal me some...and pass me some of those free Bloody Marys...

That's my favorite drink, btw...free drinks, that is...

Cheers,
Alan.

Lushs studios presents: a preview: http://vimeo.com/29297847

LOL...yeah, go for it Big-G...

Now I know why you're trying to get people to donate...you're looking for funding to produce the movie...

Makes perfect sense to me...and good luck with that, btw...
I get quite a few very "interesting" comments on my stories, especially on sites that allow anonymous comments, but my story "Flight Lessons" gets more than its share, especially from pilots...I had no idea how many pilots read my stories before, which makes me a little suspect about ever getting on a plane again...I'm aware of at least ten pilots who have read it, btw...

It was the first story I ever did any research for, since I never actually flew a plane...I read two short WikiHowTo articles...one on how to take off in a Cessna 172, and another on landing a small plane, the latter mentioned radioing the control tower, if there is one...

When I wrote the story, I couldn't for the life of me remember if the Linden, New Jersey Airport actually had a control tower, and wasn't going to drive past just to find out...but, others apparently knew and picked up on it...

So...the first comment I got on that story was...

"Awful

First, there is no control tower at the Linden, NJ airport. But most important, flying -- and learning to fly -- is serious business. The flight lessons you described have no connection to reality. The instructor instructs, the student flies, from his first lesson. Each time they take off, the instructor's certificate is on the line. Conduct as you described and simple joy riding have no business being in a story about learning to fly an airplane."

This was followed by...

"Lighten up man!
a
To Navigator: lighten up. This is a fantasy story! I'm a pilot too and I know there is no room for her to mount him in the pilot's seat of a 172 but big fucking deal. The story is hot and well done and the instructor sounds quite delicious. Next time she needs to fly and he needs to go down on her."

Which was followed by...

"Good start

Don'r listen to the HATERS. It was a good story and I do know a little about flight lessons most people don't and since this is a fantasy (maybe or maybe not) Do what you want to in the story and I have know Idea were this airport is so I would not know if a tower is there or not. Once again GOOD JOB!!!! JACDADY"

And this one is classic...

The Skyhawk is a spam can. Push/pull throttles are an annoying joke. And its nice to have a safe and RESPONSIBLE instructor - which Captain Fuck Me obviously is not. Women cant fly properly anyway. Imagine trusting your life to someone thats unstable once a month"

And that's just a sample...
Mine is actually a drink...I had started writing a couple of years ago using the name Exakta66, because I collect Exakta cameras and was using that name for everything else I did on the net...

Then I found out last year that Exakta is an active registered trademark, and thought it best to change it...my girlfriend Nancy suggested the DirtyMartini name, and I agreed it seemed like a good choice...a hint of "dirtiness" without being too dirty...

Heck, she likes the drink so much I even wrote her a poem about it...
http://www.storiesspace.com/stories/poetry/the-dirty-martini.aspx

Btw, I thought we had a similar thread before...but can't find it, so maybe not...
So, it took 46 days, eh...how many nights? Never mind...

So you two were driving a rental van...hmmm, why do I get an image in my mind from a Cheech and Chong movie...

Something like this maybe...

Well...at least you made it back alright and lived to tell about it...
Wow...is that an actual Scooter sighting? Heard a rumor you were still alive, but wasn't really sure what happened to you...

I told Chef to start baking a cake with a file in it just as a precautionary measure in case we got a phone call...though not really sure if anyone here has a working phone...

Nice to see you back Dude...someone pass Scooter a double shot of brake fluid and throw a fresh batch of fritters in the deep fryer...

And pass me the bourbon, if there's any left...

Btw Mr. Scoot...it took you 46 days to move your bunkie down to Columbus, OH? You live in Ohio, right? What did you two do walk?

Never mind...
Just as a public service announcement for my fellow Lushkins...

The book "Understanding Women" has finally arrived in stores:

Hey there Lush crew...any possum fritters and brake fluid left?

Hey Chef, you don't find it anything to be concerned about that Rump drained the brake fluid out of your truck? Just saying...

Might need something to chase the brake fluid with...just to get the taste from the rusted brake lines out off the palette...

Pass me a bottle of Sams Club Special Reserve bourbon, will ya?
Well...it looks like I Googled a line or two from every story I have posted here on Lush, and that's a few actually...

The good news is there are actually eight stories of mine that have not been plagiarized...

Now I just have to figure out what's so bad about them that people won't even steal them...Jeez, more work...
Sorry about the links...I didn't they would be perceived as competing sites or anything...mostly blogs, and the PDF...

Really didn't think I was breaking any rules here...
My Halloween contest story is showing up on the strangest non-English sites like this...

LINK REMOVED BY ADMIN

It's also the third story of mine I've found in PDF form on the net...something I do not like at all...
LINK REMOVED BY ADMIN

And here's a blog it's on that I'm sure has more stolen stories...
LINK REMOVED BY ADMIN

And BDSM forum, of course...
LINK REMOVED BY ADMIN

Btw, I've found another of my stories that was not stolen..."The Review" has been on the internet for over two years now, and nobody has stolen it...

After what I've found the last two days, I'm starting to really wonder what the heck is wrong with it that nobody thinks it's good enough to steal...

Enough to give a guy a complex...

DM, try looking at Google's cached copy, often that gets around some restricted membership issues.

Yeah, thanks MOW...I know that trick, except a lot of times you don't have that option...

I am afraid that if you are appearing on sites in that fashion, the owner is doing it. Then you have a battle on your hands.

That appears to be the case with quite a few of the sites I've found my stuff on...check the last link I just posted to Beaver Farm...a lot of my stories seem to have been posted by "admin" or blogs, or like the link I just posted...
Here's another site one of my stories is on that I bet has quite a few stories by others here...

REMOVED BY ADMIN - NO MORE LINKS PLEASE

I don't see any way to contact the site other than joining...and I don't feel like joining another pervy little site...heck, I'm on enough pervy little sites...

They don't actually claim they wrote it or anything...heck, there is no author listed...so, it's just another one I'm going to let go...and there's quite a few of those I've found today...

The only way to totally protect your content on the web, is to not post it in the first place.

Lol...that's the facts of life, simply put...

I have a question...I Googled the first line of my story "Dance Class" and a ton of porn sites come up in the results, but if I click on them I can only get the free tour or whatever...how can I tell if they are using my story, or what?

Check out page two of the Google results, you'll see what I mean...

We shouldn't publish email addresses on the forum really, no matter how much span we would wish upon the guy.

Speaking of...I found one of my stories on a blog, properly credited to me...and with my old e-mail address posted...and no idea how they got it...

There are more stories posted here, if anyone's curious...
http://erotic-stories-women.blogspot.com/2010/09/new-years-eve-dance-i-will-survive.html?zx=9bd89fb267905d5c

So far, I've only found one of my stories that hasn't been, um..."borrowed"...
Good Afternoon my drunken Lush friends...congratulations on being plagiarized Sharon...you know what they say...imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

Who says that, btw? Anyway...join the club there...and it's getting to be a very big club I might add...

Just another excuse to drink, as if I had a shortage of those...heck, if excuses were dollars I'd be rich...

In the meantime...what variety of Sams Club No Frills liquor fell off the truck today Mr. Rumpskin?

Hmmm...I need something with a kick to it...

Let's see...did that bottle of Sams Club tequila come with a worm in the bottle, or did something crawl in there and die?

Never mind...just pour some shots for the bar...just, um, put it on my tab...
Cheers,
Alan.

Those fucksticks have at least one of mine too. I'm sure I'll be banned, too, assuming they activate my account at all. "Lilly" stole it.

It's looks like Miss Lilly stole about every story that passed through Lush for a while...

I can tell you for a fact, and I think you've been doing this long enough to agree, that it's only going to get worse as time goes on and your reputation as an author increases...I'm sure people like Morgan and Tracy can tell a few stories...

If you try to get your stories pulled down every time they show up on a site, you'll only end up with more gray hairs in a few years...

It's when they try to profit from your stuff that you should be concerned...someone pointed this out, and it's stuff like this that's a bit troubling...

I don't want to think about what all is on there...but, I know it contains stuff from Lush authors...

i got a response of "I don't give a flying fuck!" how cool am i!

Obviously you moved right up their VIP List...did you sign your note "Her Royal Spriteness?"...try that, that should work...if they realize they're dealing with royalty you should get a better response...

On another note, I don't know much about the legal side of this whole thing, not being a lawyer or anything...I have used lawyers in the past, but that's another story...

Anyway, just wondering...is it a more serious offense if someone is actually profiting from your stolen stories as opposed to just posting them? I would assume so, usually anything involving money gets people's attention...

Someone in one of my FB writing groups pointed out that some of these sites get paid because "the operator who rents commercial space out gets paid for the hit"...so, in effect, they are profiting from the story theft even if they are not directly selling the stories...

I thought that was an interesting concept...

Looks like my stuff's getting spread around now, too. I hope whoever's stealing my stories gets AIDS.

Actually, nowadays people live long and relatively healthy lives with HIV...

I was thinking maybe small pox or Ebola...what you think?

We're getting a bit rough here...
