It was a 5 lane highway, crossing the street is not an option. I did not accept his approach, he followed me in a car. I'm not entirely certain what you feel I should to have prevented it.
I have been running at a different location lately, but as this requires me to drive 20 mins, it sincerely inhibits my mileage.

You may be displeased, and cry censorship, but the reality is that this site is considered a pornographic site. As such, children are not permissible subjects in a sexual discussion. which this is. You posted a picture of a child under 16. that is distinctly against the rules.

But why does the page of current contest submissions (or past contest pages) not look like the Front page? It includes only the title and author; no tags, no one-liner, no opening text. This occurred to me as I was perusing stories in the current comp, and noticing the low readership. Admittedly, I have not read many either, (which I will remedy, to the best of my ability) as supernatural is not my thing. But seriously, Steph after two weeks has only 1200 views? I blog my work. I could send out the marketing emails, but then it leads one to 'collect' friends to add to my mailing list. And many folks don't go for that anyway, hence the option to turn that function off.
Is there a way to make the list of Comp Stories more appealing to readers? Especially with a category like Supernatural, where there appears to be a small but dedicated readership, it seems like many stories in this Comp may not get enough views to accumulate the necessary votes to qualify.

That being said there are a couple genres if you will that simply don't come to mind. Those I don't write in because they just don't interest me.
So I thought also, but my current story is one I never would have imagined I would being writing in. However, it was an idea that took hold and refused to let go until I got it on paper. Now just to get it through the editing process, which is by far the longest, hardest part for me.

I write for me first and foremost. So the idea of writing, or not writing, for the reader is foreign. I write because I have stories that need out. When they appear here, you can bet they have been in my head demanding escape before that.
As such, if there is a story that needs out, I will write it, and figure out where it goes after.
