In a nutshell, I married my childhood sweetheart, went to college, built my own company up from scratch, and have been amazingly fortunate to be successful enough over the years to pretty much now do whatever I want to. In the process of pursuing success I discovered that I had grown away from everything that was important - my wife, my kids, what made me happy, having anything to look forward to in life. It came as something of a shock one day to realize that I was married to a stranger, my own kids didn't really know me at all - and vice versa - and that I had no idea how to enjoy life anymore. So... now I don't work as hard, my wife and I have reconnected, as have the kids and I, and I find things to do that I enjoy. And writing - fiction, non-fiction, and erotica - is among them.
