I have 17kt (yes, seventeen--the British were a little weird with gold purity) Victorian-era signet ring that my jeweller, who specializes in estate and otherwise "secondhand" jewellery, found for me. It had never been engraved, so Joel engraved my first and last initials in it, in a beautiful scroll pattern.

Do I wear it all the time, or even very often? No. However, when I do, I receive tons of compliments. It's a work of art. Point being, I like my signet ring and I like wearing it, so I give exactly zero fucks as to the question of what other people might think of me for wearing it.
Ha. I have a near-obsession with exquisite bras, and yes, I always wear matching panties. Lace, grosgrain ribbon, embroidery, chiffon edging and satin...love it. I'd put my "collection" at around 100 bras and G-d only knows how many pairs of panties.
Yay for you? I mean, judging a woman's desirability based solely on her height and weight and other physical attributes is totally still a thing, right?

*sigh* Guess I'll just take my 6' 185 lb. self and go about life miserable and alone. Oh, no, wait, turns out that lots of guys really like a tall woman with curves. Phew!
My dirty is probably of a different flavour, but hey, it's hot, I promise. Come and try a bit?
I don't, but I'm probably more the exception than the rule. As to the comment about being "open to tasting" myself, yes, love that--on my own fingers, on his fingers, on his lips, on his...well, I could go on but I won't. Point being, correlation is not causation.
No. Just...no. I do, to parrot Metilda, like it when readers tell me that a particular story "[moved] them to action".
My late 30's have been terrific. I've seen my brother go from bumaround goofball to successful, homeowning responsible husband and father. I've seen my own boys go from being toddlers to pre-teens and teenagers, each responsible, kind and hardworking. I've met a wonderful man whom I plan on keeping around for awhile (or until he tires of me). I am blessed and lucky to be where I am in life and wouldn't trade my current position and age away for anything.
I read quite a lot--to excess, really. That said, I read very little erotica or "smut". Nicholson Baker, Jon Krakauer, Michael Dorris, the inevitable Hemingway...I read to read, and I read to write.
Two ASA tablets and one Tylenol #3, chased with a lot of coffee. Note that this isn't for a hangover headache, just a headache headache.
I collect those stupid little snowglobe/water ball things. I think I have something like 400-odd now, from around the world. It started out with my grandmother bringing me them when I was little, and just snowballed (pun fully intended). Friends and relatives now actively seek out the tackiest ones they can find from wherever they are or are visiting. I do have some nice ones, and some rare ones (from World's Expositions and whatnot) but mostly, they're those plastic ones.
Not sure what a Jen's Jolter is but it seems appropriate, so one of those, please, Bill. It's that kind of day already.
I've been told that my skin tone puts milk to shame. Not sure if that's a compliment or not. I don't tan, I burn.
Hey all, haven't been in for a while...I blame my brother's homemade eggnog, which is less eggnog than nutmeg flavoured whiskey. Anyway, a belated Merry Christmas and a totally on time Happy New Year to all!
Yes. Difficult to achieve, but extraordinary and extraordinarily worth the effort, or so I've been told.
Drambuie neat, please. Went to my dentist for a crown, she ended up fracturing the tooth. So now I have to spend ~$3000 to have the tooth (a canine, so very visible) extracted, and then an implant put in. Yay. Anyway. Merry Christmas, and Jen, I'm sorry about the story queue.

See, you've been brainwashed already. He probably used the maple syrup torture on you and you can't remember a thing. Those Canadians are a sneaky and dangerous bunch, I tell you.

Beware of the Maple Leaf!

Don't forget that our top secret world domination plan also includes the production of children with dual citizenship...oh, yah, and we have JTF-2. I can't hate on Lyfbuz, he's a lovely man, and I'm too polite to be bothered with hating on anyone anyway.
Tiffiesta, good on you for enjoying the shooting sports. It's a "magazine", though, not a "clip". Women are generally better at the shooting sports because we naturally have better breath control. It's a thing. Channel the awesomeness.

Obviously my top secret talent isn't shooting, since everybody knows I do that...but I am mixed handed, meaning I generally shoot left but can also shoot right, I write cursive with my left hand and block print with my right, etc. Not a terribly useful talent but hey, it's something.
Barkeep! A round for everyone! JENNIFER IS GOING TO HAVE A NIECE!! My brother and SIL are expecting her arrival 1 June 2018, which incidentally was their son's (my darling nephew) due date in 2016. Okay...yes, I am going to go shopping and buy ALL THE PINK THINGS!!! And the sparkly things!! Also the pink sparkly things!! Kisses and hugs and much beer to everyone!
Coffee, and buy her whatever it is she wants to drink--coffee, tea, tisane, whatever.
Pretty much the same online as off. I definitely use swear words more on here than in real life, but that's about the only difference.
I tore my partner's shirt off in the heat of the moment. All I can say is, buttons everywhere.
Surgery day. Going under at 1415. Will probably be hospitalised overnight, which is exactly every nurse's worst nightmare--you hear every alarm, every code, everything, meaning no sleep or fitful sleep at best. Going to do my best to convince my ortho surgeon that it's cool, I can go home. I think he'll probably maybe possibly agree. I hope.
