Red Stag. neat please.

Have a name, Flirt? One that doesn't tell me to smile and bat my eyelashes every time it is typed. I'm Jennifer. The tarantula on the nuts is Terrence. You are?
You don't suck, V. I'm not even sharing my score.

Anybody else reading the news yesterday come across the word "peak" used instead of "pique"? I think my brain about exploded. "Peek" might have been worse. Maybe.
Ah, Bill. I just used "nah, fam" in a complete sentence. H. is invading my brain. Cider me.

That usually starts with the showing of titties. Happy chatting.

I show the titties, and nobody chats with me....just saying.

I know, one girl's rant

Nah, fam.

Oooh, you're so scary, Hannah!

PS: I've already done it, so don't come after me!

Hot chocolate here please, barkeep, maybe laced with a splash of Bush if you've any going spare.

C., I'm just going to say that H. is a solid nine hour flight from me, and I'm still plagued with nightmares of her chewing on my ankles. Or getting together with Sprite and kneecapping me. Just saying.

H., I hustled up and wished the Divine Ms. D. a happy birthday.
First I heaped abuse on mods, and then I was made one. G-d knows what would happen if I were to heap abuse on Sprite. Wake up short, blonde, childless and find my vehicle to be a blue Ford Ranger? So no, I'll pass.
Cider me, please, Bill. A nice Finn's River Farms Blackcurrant with a shot of Maker's Mark to chase what I already have would be lovely. Thank you.
Yes, because it addresses something very personal to me--the effects of combat, direct and indirect, on any combat veteran. Plus, it's one of my few where the characters are given some sort of backstory. Please take a read?

Well, I go off for a few days to do some FEMA/Homeland Insecurity disaster/MASCAL incident response and SAR refresher training, come back and find that I've been invited to be a forum mod.

I accepted. Meaning that everyone should seriously consider getting very drunk right about now. I seriously need to learn to say no to things....
I'm so fucking sorry. If I could have saved you, you would have lived forever. I love you, I always will.
I have nothing but respect and adoration for the mods. They're a fine lot of bloody miserable illiterate cousin fucking piss Pabst drinking motherfuckers. I'll fuck anyone who says otherwise right the fuck up six different ways to Sunday.

*goes off to find a cider whilst waiting for her abuse*
Have you considered a professional gel (shellac, whatever) mani or mani pedi? Lacquer straight onto my natural nails is gone within a day or two, because I wash my hands constantly and use the alcohol hand gel all the time. The gel nail treatment is terrific, I can keep my nails short (or have my manicurist keep them short) and still have a beautiful "manicure".

As for what is going on now with your nails, Dani's advice is pretty spot on.

No joke, I had this dream that Jen murdered someone but everyone was applauding her because the victim was annoying AF. And she was so chilled out about it. Idk what's wrong with me.

Kan I have some tea?

Hmm. Well, on the plus side, I'm in your dreams, H.

...news about John McCain being diagnosed with the same form of cancer that took the lives of Sen. Ted Kennedy and VP Joe Biden's son, Bo. (sigh)

Yah, good man. I've always respected him, even though his political affiliation was not exactly to my taste.

The only positive thing I can say about his being diagnosed with a glioblastoma is that oddly enough, and as macabre as it may seem, it's generally the one kind of true brain cancer (as opposed to metastasis from a malignant lesion elsewhere in the body) that ranks high on the "okay cancer type to be diagnosed with" list. Yes, if you work at all in medicine, you develop a list of Ways I Want To Die. It's a thing.

Point is, glioblastomas, or gliomas, are very rapid in their development and encroachment on the whole of the brain itself--it's a thing called mass effect, wherein the tumour (in this case) pretty much squishes all of the rest of the brain against the skull. There are no viable surgical or medical interventions that will extend your life much beyond two years from the initial diagnosis--although since McCain's diagnosis was incidental (meaning that he doesn't actively have any symptoms resulting from mass effect, it wasn't being looked for during the surgery to remove the blood clot in his eyes, and so the finding was purely an accident) he may well live beyond the average of 14 months from diagnosis to death.

So why is it on my Ways I Want To Die list? Simply because by the time you find out about your glioma, there is nothing to be done but to get your affairs in order as quickly as possible and to go into hospice (palliative) care. Yes, some patients will relentlessly suffer through "weedwhacking" surgeries, repeatedly, but with a glioma, the glioma plays by house rules and always wins. Would much prefer a year or less of life made comfortable with palliative care than to have another type of malignant brain or other cancer that would offer me the remote hope of remission in exchange for going through aggressive and miserable therapeutic care.

Godspeed, Sen. McCain.
We're both Canadian. So, naturally, we'd engage in the "No, you go ahead"/"No, YOU go ahead" or the "I'm sorry"/"Terribly sorry to disturb you" game.
Sitting in a bathtub filled to the brim with $100 bills, whilst sipping a good Champagne and reading erotica.

Seriously, there's no "secret" that will do it for every woman, every time, under any circumstance. Sorry to be the one to break it to you, OP.
Congratulations! Thank you for giving so generously of your time and skills to the site.

Hello, just stumbled across this ...

Well, if you've got the stumbling part down, you're halfway to being a Rump Regular. Basics: Don't pet Terrence the tarantula, unless you're me, which I'm pretty sure you're not; ignore any noises coming from the stockroom; the hot tub is out back, it's a dumpster but hey, it works; and don't mind that stripper's pole set up just about in the middle of the room.

Welcome, love and have a seat here at the bar. Might want to throw down a handkerchief or something, looks to be a tad sticky, that one does. I'm Jennifer. Tall, Canadian, mum, doting aunt, and sometimes writer of passable wank material. Lovely to have you here.
What I find unfortunate is that anyone would decide that a) plagiarism is okay and b) slamming mods and whining about "harassment" by mods (something she claimed occurred in the text of her manifesto sent out to those on her friends list) is okay. Until this morning, I thought that Peri was a lovely person. Now I don't even know what to believe--she'd previously disclosed other information, and received offers of help from me--but the plagiarism thing, in addition to her eagerness to berate those who were only trying to help her, has left me at a loss for words.

Don't lie. Don't plagiarise. Don't blame others for your own mistakes. How difficult is that to understand? So yes, yesterday, I thought she was a lovely person. Today, not so much.
I can't even begin to explain to my sons how it is that the current placeholder seated at the Resolute Desk is addressed as "Mr. President". My primary solution so far has been to severely limit television time, but it's not like they're not able to read the news on their phones. Yes, my boys are voracious consumers of news and political information, just like their mother. This whole thing has progressed passed the point of "possibly illegal" and is now at "indict the motherfucker and everyone associated with him, already". It's left ordinary people like me at a loss of how to explain what, exactly, is going on, to those with questions.

The fact that Pence has retained his own attorney--something literally never done by a sitting VPOTUS, even Spiro Agnew--sort of gives away the whole awfulness of this mess. I'm thinking that Trump is going to try and pull a Saturday Night Massacre, ordering the sitting AG to fire Mueller, and since even the dumbest rock in the box knows that firing Robert Mueller pretty much will kill your ability to ever hold any kind of government position (see: Robert Bork) and likely kill your chances at ever landing any kind of respectable civil career position, there's going to be a lot of resignations before Trump is able to find someone willing to risk everything to fire Mueller in order to please the sitting POTUS.

Anyway. Headed to work. Coffee me, please. Like, half a pot of coffee, and a solid helping of sugar in said coffee. Thank you, barkeep.
Sounds like a request for gratis pics for use as wank material. Sorry, but that's how it's coming off.

That said, if your serious about wanting to be 'tempted', choose any of the stories in my sig line or try giving Unexpected Endings a read. Pretty damn sure that you won't be able to get through that one without at the very least doing some serious squirming.
Sex on the piano? Titties and piano wire? Sucking his cock while he plays the piano? And maybe have him playing a piece where he can use his feet every so often to play with her titties? I don't know. Grew up with a grand piano in the parlour and and I'm thinking that the opportunities to throw it out of tune in a truly enjoyable way are innumerable.
Story verification times, as pointed out elsewhere, vary wildly depending upon the number of submissions in queue and the number of individuals available to "clear" or verify the submission. Please keep in mind that all moderators/story verifiers are unpaid and are volunteering their own time and efforts toward the site.

You will be notified if your submission is rejected, and it is my understanding that the reasons for the rejection are generally given. Please take the time to incorporate those reasons when you edit your submission prior to re-submitting it. No moderator wants to make carefully considered notations regarding reasons for rejection and suggestions for correcting errors, only to see those suggestions wholesale ignored.

Also, as previously mentioned, choosing to support the site monetarily through the purchase of a Gold or Platinum membership not only helps the site itself (servers cost actual money to run and to maintain) but also offers the benefit of leapfrogging your piece to the a priority placement in the verification queue. If it has truly been >7 days since you submitted a piece and you have not yet heard anything back, I would suggest using the 'Contact Us' link to inquire after the status of your submission.

In my case, I have never had a piece go more than ~16 hours between submission and posting; then again, I made the choice to purchase a Gold membership (now upgraded to a Platinum membership) almost immediately after joining, not so much for the benefits--I believe that I was until recently wholesale unaware of the advantage of being a Gold member with a piece in queue--as to support the site. I would strongly encourage you to purchase a Gold membership if at all possible, especially if you plan on regularly submitting pieces for posting.

Hope this helps.
Charity, know that I am not the sort to find delight in someone else's unhappiness. It was not clear from your original post that you were speaking from "[your]" slightly broken heart. I am truly sorry if you found my post offencive or hurtful. It was not meant to be either of those things.

I called searching for true, meaningful, deep love (or a connection leading to such a state) a "fool's errand" because there are so very many people, male and female, on this site--as on dating sites, which Lush is not--who will lead you on, make you feel like you're something special and different to them, and then just casually toss you aside. It is sometimes easier to allow things to just happen organically, or not at all. I've seen this happen entirely too many times to people about whom I care to let it go unmentioned.

I'm truly sorry that you were hurt by someone on here or elsewhere, for whatever reason. I do wish you the best, and hope that you meet someone here who treats me as you should be treated.

~Jennifer
