A "deeper friendship" that is exclusively online? Hang on a second, I need to stop laughing. Okay. Better now.

The truth of Lush is, a lot of the people on here--maybe even most--are not who they claim to be. Out of all of the people on my own friends list, there are perhaps five or six whom I consider to be "real" friends--meaning we communicate, and regularly, outside of Lush, in real life. We don't (usually) talk sex, aside from comments about whatever is going on with whomever we happen to be with at the moment. We talk about ordinary, everyday things--work, kids, work, laundry (no, really), vacations or lack thereof.

Searching for "the one" on Lush is a fool's errand, IMHO, although it does happen, and several real-life, solid relationships and marriages have happened after a meeting on Lush. I wouldn't pin your hopes on it, though.

If someone clicks with you, great, just don't spend your time obsessing over their friends list (I make it a habit to not even look at my friends' friends lists, or their profiles at all, if I can possibly avoid it) and don't take it too entirely seriously until you have something solid going on outside of the confines of Lush. Meaning that you've talked with them on the phone, you're texting/WhatsApping/Kiking on a daily basis, and that person is reciprocating--meaning that you're not always the one to take the initiative.

Good luck.
6'10"? That's not even "tall" in my family. I'm just a shade over 6' and am the shortest woman in two generations. *shrugging* Come hang out with my brother and my father and my uncles and you'll start to see that you're not tall, the rest of the world is short.

It's all about accepting yourself. Took me until I was about 25 to be good with literally always being the tallest woman, if not the tallest person (factoring in heels or clogs here) in the room. Now, with 25 just a distant memory, I'm very okay with my height. Women might initially be attracted to you (or not attracted to you) because of your height, but it's your personality, your manners, that are the features that matter.

For those who think that somehow being fisted will leave you gaping--it doesn't happen after you birth a child, why would it happen after being fisted? The vagina was built to stretch, and built to recover from the stretching; Kegels certainly help speed up and reinforce the latter, but it would happen either way.

It is true that it is easier to fist a multiparous woman, as opposed to a nulliparous woman of the same age and body type, due to the pelvic inlet being wider post-childbirth. Post-pregnancy, really, even if the pregnancy wasn't carried through to completion, for whatever reason. Hormones are a substantial part of the initiation of a cascade of changes that occur in a woman's body during any pregnancy, regardless of outcome.

All that being said, it is still an activity that requires a lot of lubrication, a lot of patience and time, and a partner who keeps himself clean and well-manicured. As to the original question, yes, I have been fisted, and yes, I have enjoyed it immensely, as has my partner.

Need help? An excellence reference that almost should be required reading for all those who would ask their partner to indulge in vaginal fisting is a book by Deborah Addington, A Hand In The Bush: The Art of Vaginal Fisting. Read it, share it, have some fun when you're ready to have some fun.
A good Crenshaw or Honeydew melon, or a watermelon fresh off of the back of a truck somewhere in the Deep South. Absolutely incredible.

Unfortunately, as a teenager I developed an allergy to anything in the melon family; the allergy progressed to the point where, as an adult, even touching the juice of a melon will cause hives to break out on my skin. Eating something that has touched melon, let alone actually eating a piece of melon, will cause a cascade reaction--a true anaphylactic reaction--that will eventually end in my death if left untreated. So that sucks.
Hi, LadySharon, and welcome. Not sure that you've ever been in, although I've been absent the past few days.

Gil, good to see that you're doing well enough to post. That's not nothing.
MM, loving your series...I don't always comment (or really, ever comment) but I do score.
H., working on my comp piece now, at 0800 on what should be a holiday. Unless you end up working, which I will be, later today. Double time and a half, whoo-hoo, except for that I'd rather be home doing home stuff.
Laura, good to see you, hope the weather is treating you well.

A humble, heartfelt thank you to Mike, without whom Losing It would not exist, and watching the views on that piece climb at a rate that is incomparable to that of any other piece of mine is sort of nice. So thank you.

Coffee me, Bill. Already have half a pot down but G-d knows that won't keep me long.
It's something that just happens. Smiling, talking, offering help in the baking aisle at the grocery, whatever. It works out. Be yourself and it works out.
What is this "if" nonsense? For almost a month after Hank's sudden passing, two Great Pyrenees--some 300 lbs. of dog in total--refused to leave off of their routine of entering the house, and promptly sitting to wait for Hank to come over and whisper kitty sweet nothings to release them to their beds.

Hank ruled the house with an iron paw. The dogs did not doubt it. His humans did not doubt it, and visitors foolish enough to ignore him soon found themselves with Turkish Angora hair all over their clothing. There is no "if" to be had. Cats--certain cats, at least--rule the world.
Make sure that I was quite well doused in sunblock, remove my top, leave the bikini bottoms on, and call it good.
William Windsor (Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, as he is known in the RAF).
Celebrated Canada Day--150 years in the making, this one--by working. Now sitting, happily, with a bottle of seasonal Angry Orchard apple cider (has a bit of wildflower honey in it) and talking with a friend in New Westminster. V., watch the fireworks on False Creek, if you're able to do so.

Eating barbecue chicken pizza for dinner. Fresh tomatoes, green peppers, grilled sweet onions, barbecued chicken breast, cheese, bacon bits, your choice of barbecue sauce--I like Sriracha garlic chili. No pineapples. Pure deliciousness.
Soda. Unless I'm in the American Deep South, in which case it's Coke. No matter what it is that you really want, you ask for a Coke, followed by the specific variety of "Coke" you're after. Buz is seriously not messing around on that point.
Have to revisit my earlier answer...the answer is now a resounding "yes". I did have my reasons, though.

What? Sprite and Kiera?

Ha, no, although I'd love to do so. I use the term "short people" to refer to my sons....maybe I should stop now that the oldest has surpassed my 6', and the youngest is closing in on 5'4".
Probably posted this before, but James Cameron's Titanic is, IMHO, the worst movie in the history of ever. Period, full stop.
Can't say enough about H.'s EP...the girl is brilliant. That story is perfection.

So...minor rant. Alcohol-related.

I have this recurring problem. The previous owner of my house rented it out for a few years, and during that time, the tenant signed up for a wine-club service. Meaning that every 3 months or so, a FedEx guy shows up with a case of 12 bottles of wine. Problem is, the previous tenant seems to have become incapacitated and his wine-club service subscription is continuing, despite my best efforts at convincing FedEx guys who just want an empty truck that I am not the intended recipient. I have tried every which way to stop the deliveries, including calling the service, refusing the parcels, etc. to no avail.

This particular case that I received today cost the gentleman over $300. Wouldn't any person in their right mind notice that kind of charge on their credit card? And track the fuck out of it, since it's shipped FedEx? Which is why I say that he must be incapacitated; my guess is that the individual tasked with POA just writes the cheques to cover the credit card charges without looking at the actual charge breakdown. Point being, I'm in some kind of rabbit's hole, where I can't cancel this gentleman's wine-club subscription because I'm not him, and I can't turn away FedEx packages easily.

Actual conversation ten minutes ago with FedEx driver:

FE guy: Sign here, please.
Me: This parcel is not for me.
FE guy: (reading my address) Well, it doesn't matter, the address is yours. Maybe it's a gift.
Me: No, it's not a gift. Do I look like (gentleman's name) to you?
FE guy: (hemming and hawing) No, ma'am. Sign here, please.
Me: No.
FE guy: Well, I'll just have to redeliver it again, tomorrow, and that's a lot of work. Please sign?
Me: Fuck it, okay. (I sign).

So the gist here is that FedEx guys absolutely totally do not care who signs for the parcel labelled "ALCOHOL", as long as someone signs for the parcel.

Anyway, after AGAIN calling the wine-club service, I've been told AGAIN to keep the wine. Which would be fine, if I liked reds. I don't.

How I wish Rumplations were a real bar--Bill would have red and rose wines in spades.
Watched "Hidden Figures" last night. Going to take the short people to see "Wonder Woman" at the cinema next.
Meeting someone solely for sex isn't something that is in my playbook. So, no, to that specific question. Meeting someone whom I first met on Lush and then came to know better through channels outside of Lush? Yes. Have done it, will likely do it again.
Welcome to Lush, LG. I don't know about other readers, but as to myself, I'd prefer to read everything in one go if possible. There are good series out there, but I don't think I've read even one in order. Anyway, hi and welcome.
Sure, I'm sure that Dani and I could find plenty to discuss. Especially with a few ciders at hand.
This comp piece is killing me. I'm overthinking it, I know that, but I can't stop. Beer and bourbon me, please. Unless you can come up with a good Blood Orange Martini or four. Thank you, Bill.
