I like it smooth, which is also how I keep my pubic area. It much easier to give head to someone when there are not hairs, both in the way, or worse, in one's mouth. Nothing erotic about having to stop to pick sometning out of your mouth. Besides, the area then stays cooler, hence less sweat so generally better aroma. It also shows that you've put some thought into that area.
