The illuminated canopy over Freemont Street is amazing! It's free too.
That's two things mentioned in this thread now that are in a my new story lol
I LOVE both pizza and pasta. I cook a fab lasagne and l like experimenting with recipes. See how you get on with these 5 questions.............
1. What is the name of the pasta made from flour and potato whose name translates as ‘small lumps’?
2. Which pizza bears the name of the queen who is said to have inspired its creation?
3. What is missing from a pizza in order for it to be described on the menu as ‘bianca’?
4. A qualified pizza maker in Italy is given what title?
5. Which city is recognised as the home of tortelloni?
"Step up to the plate" i.e. take responsibility, really bugs me. It's fine in the context of someone from the USA saying it, but it's crept very much into common usage in the UK too. We don't even have baseball here lol
I love a sleep on the sofa in the afternoon on my days off. I'd never go to bed for that though. There's something just nice about it being the sofa, though I sometimes grab the duvet off the bed in the winter months.
I voted for tabasco purely because we don't get Texas Pete in the UK. I'm with Possibly though, Frank's Hot Sauce is yummy
I had a horrid dream last night about be chased by zombies. I watch too much Walking Dead I think!
Remind me that I really must have a proper read of some of her stories. Maybe she could recommend me something?
I tend to Mod in the mornings, but pretty much always read for my own "pleasure" in the evenings when I've gone to bed.
I tried something a little different for my last three stories. I had amazing fun with DanielleX writing a collaborative story together. I also had a go at a much shorter piece for the Flash Erotica category. The last thing I did was to try my hand at an erotic poem.
My latest offering will be very much a return to type. It's a longer and I hope seriously steamy girl/girl story called "A Monumental Affair." It's taken me ages to start writing, but I'm 1200 words into it now and hope to have it posted in a couple of weeks. Watch this space......
London regularly tops of the tourist charts in terms of the city with the largest number of visitors per annum. I live 80 miles from London, so it's easy to get very blasé about what's there. I'd like to know what the big draw is? If you could only see one sight, what would top your list?
Cheese and biscuits! Some say eating cheese close to bed can give you bad dreams. I've not found that. Is it true?
