It’s still raining. Boo hiss.

Oh golly, what was meant to be a standalone story (5.5k words) is forcing itself to have additional chapters. But for the first time in my Lush career, I am going to write all of it—or the vast majority of it—before I start releasing any chapters. Here's an example of the silly stuff happening in the dating app...
Tina B has booped you!
Tina B: So your a math teacher?
Chet: Yup!
Tina B: Try to seduce me using math
Chet: I want to square root of 16Q²
Tina B: Huh?
Chet: I want to 4Q
Tina B: Dude
Tina B has nuked your connection
I’m super impressed with your math skills! 🤓

Congratulations to you and your family. Sounds like a busy year ahead between weddings and two more grands.
Yorkshire Tea as well. And one of those strawberry things.
I have settled my retirement date with my boss. July 2028. Two more years. And I am now cleared to start handing off some of the few IT support tasks still on my plate, mostly our accounting systems. Basically, I will be focused on more strategic and business relationship work for the remainder. There's one project I will still take on but I will get someone else working with me to back me up and take over when the time comes. And our big development project but, again, I am more handling things like communication, briefing execs, and strategic focus than running the actual development.
Ooooo exciting having set a retirement date. I bet that feels good! 😊
I had set one a few years back, but that date keeps moving out. Boo Hiss

It looks like the other entries I am seeing here makes it clear but I just want to be 100% sure: We are turning in writings inspired by these pictures, correct? The characters and settings in the pictures don't necessarily have to be in the story; as long as the story deals with fireworks, or a waterfall, etc, they are acceptable ?
Yes, the main element needs to be in the story. It’s definitely a tougher challenge to write a story on your take of all the elements in the picture. Like why is the girl in the fountain with the fireworks? We’ll see what each judge goes with, though.
Mermaid (not an entry)
“But, Daaaaaadddddyyy… I love him!”
“No! He’s a stupid human!”
Sad, Faria surfaced to tell Hans goodbye.
“But, you told him about my abs?” His chin tilted. “And my strong chiseled jaw?”
Faria nodded. “He said you’re too dumb.”
“Can we at least fuck before…”
“Sure.”
Hans unzipped.
Faria screamed, “Eeeeeeek! What’s that one-eyed monster attached to you?” Then, it lengthened. “I’m out.”
She dove into the sea, leaving Hans holding his dick.

I had long thought Steampunk would be the most difficult genre for me, followed by Supernatural and Fantasy/Sci-Fi. But I've since come up with what I think are excellent ideas for those, though I won't get around to writing them for some time. BDSM should have been a tough one too, but I figured out how to do a very mild one without offending myself.
I think the hardest ones for me will be Horror, Monster and Mind Control. One way or the other, I'm going to make sure I tackle Horror or Monster for this Halloween, though.
Me love Monster and Horror! Scare my panties off, Joe! 😈
Bonfire (not an entry)
I whispered dirty words in his ear. Now he saw me. Kissed me. Ate me. Fucked me. His heart trapped between my slick thighs. Or so I thought.
But he chose to marry her.
Desperate times, you know. I thumbed through the ancient book. Caught her bouquet. Threw it into the fire. Circled and chanted as it burned. Spell complete.
Now I’d wait as the flame burnt out between them.
He’d finally be mine.

Back to work is okay today. My grumpy face is because a company that I have been doing business with for 15 or something like that years got breached because some dipshit got taken in by a phish. Not a small company either, one of this planet's biggest cruise lines. Surely they can afford good mail filters and employee security training.
Ooo ouch! Yup that sucks! We are repeatedly trained and tested regularly on cyber security.
Fireworks (just playing along, not an entry)
It was the way she licked her ice cream that drew eyes, until…
“Pity the fireworks stole their attention,” I said.
Babygirl pouted just a minute before she took action.
She gained a few followers just by climbing into the fountain. But when she lay in it, only nipples visible about water, more watched. She rose, naked body dripping wet, and she smirked.
All lusty eyes had returned to her.
The fireworks a mere backdrop.

I wrote an entry in Kimmi's contest thinking it needed to be 375 words and then wondering why everyone else's was only 75 words and then reading the rules more carefully! 🤣
Oh no! Thats kinda funny though. 😊 Sounds like something I would do. Can you somehow cut 300 words out?
Waterfall (not an entry, just playing along)
I know your true desires.
The whispers pulled Finn through the waterfall into the mouth of the cave.
In the darkness, a woman’s naked body glowed. Finn frowned, and the woman laughed, her voice deepening as her body shifted into a man’s form, cock stiff and lengthening toward him.
You can’t hide from me.
Finn’s cock flexed in his wet jeans.
He’d leave the cave with a sore ass and a smile.
Free at last.

Ok, Kimmi, am I correct in assuming that poetry, author's notes and titles are all acceptable?
Yes if you include a title or authors note (like in yours) it doesn’t count as part of 75 words. Just make sure I can tell what’s what. I could tell in yours. And I want poets included in this one. Your 75 words can be in poem or story format. ;)
