My happy place this week is on the couch with Butters watching Shark Week on Discovery channel.

I think you can be more descriptive in 3rd person. Create a setting and atmosphere and show what you’re seeing. When in 1st person, you always have to worry about keeping his voice consistent while painting the scene for the reader. I think 1st person is best used for a highly emotional or introspective feel from one character.

As for me, KimmiBeCreepy is going to be spreading sunshine all over the pages of Lush with a joyful end-of-the-world story in the queue. 🤣 After that I’m publishing a Steampunk one about a dying man, and then writing a man’s-worst-nightmare story inspired by a famous song and artist. The trick will be staying within Lush rules yet detailing so that the reader knows what it references. This cover gives a big hint.

Mr Paddling, if I need to research a kink I’ve not experienced, I google “psychology of (kink)”. Often get the Psychology Today site and it gives me things like types of people who enjoy that and motivations for engaging in it which really helps tell a more layered story. I’d suggest starting there. And I read the Recommended Reads and Editor's Picks for that category, too.

Warning, my writing is about to go weird and dark again!

Hosparus Health has taken over Dad’s care. We met together Friday night and they evaluated Dad. He’s really declined in last month. The nurse said he’s in 1st stage end of life which usually means less than 3 months left, but some do plateau and live longer. He has necrosis starting in a foot. Other foot is swollen many times its normal size. He needs to pass in his condition but I’m not handling the end coming. My bf who passed early 2019 got necrosis in all appendages while in ER. I will never forget seeing that. I feel like an elephant is sitting on me. I don’t think I’ve really released grief from my bf, best girlfriends, Mom because it was one after another I had to be strong for and Dad tanked after Mom passed. I’m going to need help releasing it all, I know.

In the meantime, writing is saving my sanity, but I am having dark and strange ideas in my head.

I’ve been reading a lot of stories lately and seeing those spamming the comments section. I hit report and they disappear pretty quickly. I’m also the self-appointed penis patrol and after enjoying the against-the-rules penis avatars, I report them and they are quickly removed or changed. That report button works well.

This is a big ass site with a ton of members. We are adults and I think should hold ourselves responsible for reporting scammers and vetting anyone we might be interested in. And most avatars are not the member. I thought that was pretty well known and acceptable. Is Seeker4 an ape? Nope. So assume a woman’s pic with the best tits and ass you’ve ever seen isn’t really what she looks like.
